For a small airport... it's not bad. The shops are open at super early hours when even the large airports don't open till 8 or 9am.
Bottled water is cheap out of the vending machines. By airport standards that is. Free wife! a place for the kids to play with a small playground area.
And pretty centrally located to the north or south. I give 5 stars cause of free wifi and shops are open early so I can catch up on my window shopping while bored.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Lauren C.Brooklyn, Vereinigte Staaten6089232519. Apr. 2016
Very confusing set-up BUT there is a children's playground upstairs near the gates so I'm willing to sacrifice one negative for a positive.
I love love love that in the security areas for families and domestic travel between the Canary Islands, they have a little metal detector decorated for children. It's such a great little idea that adds to the magic of a child's travel experience. Especially those that might be feeling a bit nervous about flying.
The check-in area is a bit frantic so I'd have your belongings, kids, documents, etc. sorted before proceeding to your flight related desk.
There are plenty of food possibilities pre and post security.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Qype User (martd…)Bexley, London, Vereinigtes Königreich258427. Nov. 2008
Quite a small airport by London standards but gets very busy in the holiday season departures are upstairs and arrivals downstairs. The duty free is not particularly cheap comparedto prices on the island. The fast food BOCHA is reasonanly priced and there is a sun deck. No night flights.
Plenty of parking and lots of car rental firms. Busse to the rest of the island from hereHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
