Really like this small airport. Friendly people. Fast lines. Great food and drink. Easy access by taxi or rental car. Easy security...meets all the requirements without the drama of a Madrid or Frankfurt. Clean restrooms and waiting areas. Plenty of power charging stations. Hope to be back soon!

A very nice, older small airport. Not much inside security except for one duty free shop and one coffee shop. Everyone here seems most pleasant.

This is a great jumping off point if you want to explore the various hidden gems of Reino de España, from here you can go to Rota, Andalusia or do a road trip to either Gibraltar or Portugal!
The airport itself is small but very well laid out. There is one duty-free shop and one concessions stand for food/drink. Boarding terminals lead to the tarmac, in other words you are exiting the building and walking to the aircraft. Outside the arrival area, you have another small shop and a vehicle rental kiosk. That's all there is to it!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 23. Sept. 2017
I like this airport. It's small and not busy at all. Having flown via several big airports it a nice change of pace. The security like literally took a minute and the checkin was painless. They have a couple of cafeterias prior to security first and second floor. They also have a cafe post security and a shop/duty free as well.

Fly out of Jerez for Barcelona. Flight was severely delayed due to incoming flight. Jerez gave everyone food and drink vouchers and let us know our rights as customers. Customer service handled it great.

Aeropuerto de Jerez. The main airport for the city of Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, just North of it (name to fame: Jerez' wines).
The airport is the quickest way to go from the U.S. Navy Base Naval of Rota to all main Spanish (via Iberia Express), and some foreign, cities. Flights are quickly to board, rarely busy, airport security is very fast and unintrusive (Caveat: If coming from the US via the Naval Base, you must show passport if civilian, Military ID if Armed forces. Only time airport security will give you grief).
Small, but nice ambiance, it has less than a handful of stores and two restaurants. One of them is "On Time", a combination restaurant/mini store, very good, very, very fresh food. Excellent view of the Tarmac from it.
Normally accessed by bus or (expensive) taxies, will recommend the train from Jerez proper. In short, very functional, close to bare minimum, it does the job.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - A J.San Jose, Vereinigte Staaten11912. Aug. 2013
The bare minimum airport. To go to Cadiz (a fashionable nice city by the sea), we arrived at this airport. But the frequency of the public transportation is scarce. And the sign and information about bus, railway is terrible. We chased several buses, but they were for packaged tourists. We used taxi in the end.
