All About Henna

I've gotten henna done so many times, but I don't recall enjoying the experience of getting it. However, I will never forget getting my henna done by Surinder, the beautiful lady who runs All About Henna. It's with Surinder that I realized that the artist matters just as much as the art does.

Surinder did such a WONDERFUL job of making my friend and I very comfortable at her place, patiently helped us find the ideal henna design, and shared everything about the process of henna, right from the start and till the end.

I also want to note that Surinder makes her own home made NATURAL HENNA. I never realized how important it is to use natural henna versus store bought black henna until I saw the damaging effects of black henna online. (Google search it at your own risk). Besides the fact that Surinder's henna is all natural and safe, it smells amazing! I kept sniffing my hand as the smell lingered for a close to a day.

When you're getting your henna done for your special occasion, it really matters who does it for you. I would definitely recommend Surinder and her artistic skills any day.

I was unaware and decided to venture off and go and get some body art (henna). Yelp had some crazy directions where it wanted me to make a left and the location would be on my right. The location; a lake!! After a long failed attempt to find, All About Henna, I called Surinder and let me tell you, she is fabulous! Surinder, was just getting off work and she told me she would stay on the line with me and help me find her place, even though I had not made a previous appointment.

When I arrived, very late, Surinder offered me water and made me feel at ease, she is quite charming and very hospitable. Not only is she detailed with the after care of your henna, the henna, Surinder used is fresh, never store bought and all-natural; it smells devine! (Think of a honey & sugar scrub) I was so pleased with Surinder's art, that I dubbed her, 'The Desi Pablo Picasso' !

If you've never gotten a henna, or are contemplating getting one, go to Surinder! If you are not sure about getting a beautiful and temporary art piece on your dermis, yet you love Indian culture, get a candle! The candles, Surinder makes are stunning and would make great gifts as well, not to mention the other beautiful henna art pieces, Surinder has created.

Overall, I was absolutely pleased with my henna. I would highly recommend Surinder @ All About Henna. She is a Desi doll! And quite a gifted and talented henna artist.

I came after a henna disaster at another location. I am beyond happy with my hands! I am beautifully adorned on my birthday and she came thru even though she was unwell to help me out! She has a client for as long as she wants! Will be returning!

I love this business!! Surinder and her assistant are both extremely skilled henna artists. I am just so impressed with their work. I've had mehndi done by them on multiple occasions, including my engagement and karwa chauth, and I find myself really wishing I could've had them there for my wedding in India. They are truly better at what they do and using better quality henna than any mehndi I've had done in India.

The candles and other henna art, by the way, are GORGEOUS and really push my buttons, because I've loved mehndi since I was young. I already loved mehndi art, so I was really excited when Surinder started offering these. I've got several in my house and will probably start decorating the office with them next!

Be it body art or expanding the creativity to home decor on candles or canvas or clothing, Surinder does an amazing job of marrying her artistic skills with the beautiful world of Henna!

I hired Surinder for a house party. It was a great experience. She is extremely professional and takes a personable approach with guests. Once she arrived, she immediately set up and began interacting with guests to explain Henna. Her knowledge is impressive and her skills at freehanding are amazing. I will definitely use her services for future party planning.
