neither Spanish nor tasty, just loud and crowded
After being turned away from other restaurants because they were full on the Saturday night or because they didn't look so nice inside, hunger alerted us to what should've been a Spanish restaurant with Spanish on the door and on the menu, but no one could speak it inside.
Although we did our best to find out why the restaurant was Spanish in writing only, the noise level was very high. We asked the server to send us the owner, who then explained the complicated history of the restaurant with old and new cooks and changes in management and encouraged us to try the patatas bravas and the boquerones, neither of which was very good: the potatoes were greasy and the anchovies tasted fresh from the jar.
Since this restaurant also didn't accept credit cards, we decided to keep looking and not to believe what you can read on the doors of Spanish restaurants in Stuttgart.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sher K.Bedford, Vereinigte Staaten022. Okt. 2015
Pretty tasty tapas. Not a lot of variety but we especially enjoyed the gambas and the goat cheese. I asked for a vegetable to use with the cheese spread and they sent someone to the store for a cucumber. Very accommodating! Friendly service. Our server spoke English and offered one menu in English. The sangria tasted good but garnished with canned fruit. We will go back.
