Food: I ordered a Warsteiner beer, a rib-eye steak with potatoes and green beans. All of it was decent. Kind of hard to mess up potatoes and green beans. As for the steak, I've definitely have had better elsewhere.
Service: The wait staff was arguing among themselves. I don't care if you're arguing in another language... it ruins the dining experience. There were many open tables when I got there, but I was told that they were all reserved and my only option was to sit at the bar. After I left, those tables were still open.
Location: Conveniently located near the Wittenbergplatz subway station. I only ate here because it was close to my hotel.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 162829817. Feb. 2011
Ok the steak was perfect. This place has an extensive meat menu and then offers various sauces and accompliments to go on the steaks. I love the ability to customize my order to my taste and not have to have whatever the chef wants comes up with. I started with salad which was a German style salad with more than just lettuce, tomatoes and salad dressing, it came with corn and grated radish and kidney beans. My friend ordered soup that looked really good. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and were very good quality beef with good flavor. If I come back to Berlin I will come back to this restaurant.
The menu was in English and the staff were friendly and spoke some English. If you miss Budweiser then you can get some here, but you would have to overlook the good German beer.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - James T.Pensacola, Vereinigte Staaten0933. Dez. 2019
With the yelp reviews I saw I was not sure I should try this place but glad I did food was good and my wife loved the steak "ribeye" cooked to a medium and good clean taste. I had the schnitzel good, not the best in all of Berlin but was a good choice. I give it 5 starts because everything we had was good with good germany service at a solid price.

Woah what's with the rollercoaster reviews here?! I came yesterday, starving after my 3 hour long debacle from the airport to my accommodation nearby. Looking for a good meal (in all honesty, I was looking for anything) this was the first restaurant I saw and helped myself to an outdoor seat.
This place was fairly busy for a Sunday afternoon and the lovely lady waiting my table was nothing but friendly and helpful.
So I sat, soaking up the 34 degree heat, my tummy rumbling and already knowing I'd be getting a schnitzel, because it's my favorite thing to eat in Germany (along with any other meat based dish, of course).
My food came out promptly, a freshly cooked piece of pork schnitzel slathered in a creamy mushroom sauce with hot and crisp fries. Also served with a garden salad. Certainly not a healthy meal and I opted not to eat the mushroom sauce because i thought it was a bit rich. My meal overall though was superb, it was everything I wanted at that moment and I was left very satisfied.
Cost was reasonable and the cost of my meal and a drink was about €15. Highly recommended.Helpful 9Thanks 0Love this 9Oh no 0 - Jeff O.Durham, Vereinigte Staaten9371128. Juli 2016
This was a nice place for a steak and a table outside. The service was good, the prices were excellent, and I went back with a group of 8 a few days later.

I was staying within a block and was in Berlin on business, and despite less then stellar yelp reviews, gave it a shot as the place seemed to have steady crowds in it.
From start to finish, it was a disappointing experience. I ordered the escargo appetizer, which was I am pretty sure canned, and supposed to be hot. They showed up luke warm and were the worst escargo I have ever had. The salad was probably the highlight of the night, as it was fair. Upon ordering I was under the assumption that a side came with the steak, so ordered the Broccoli and Bernaise, it was once again, luke warm, and the sauce tasted like it was canned or bottled. The steak, which I ordered medium rare, was poorly booked. Scorched on one side and hardly cooked on the other. I was charged for the Broccoli actually $4.95 and the total bill was pretty high for what I got.
As a rule, I feel that I get very good food all over Europe when I am there on work, but this place truly stunk. Finally if you claim to be an Argentine steakhouse and you do not have chimichurri, you are a poser.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jeremy R.Denver, Vereinigte Staaten3910. Okt. 2014
The food here is excellent and the service is incredible. Most restaurants here in Germany don't give you have the service this place does. It is a must eat for dinner !

.. While the venue seems a bit tired, it does seem to have a loyal following of local clientele, perhaps seeking a reasonable meal perhaps in the cozy, wide booths that likely prompt conversation. Wine & Beer selection not extensive, but appropriate for the food. Being an American & spoiled by American beef, I'm always hesitant about Europe & steaks, but trying the petit filet did not disappoint, neither did the frites. The caramel drizzled vanilla ice cream finished off with a cappuccino. The beef menu is interesting & I'd return to try more on another occasion.

This sad excuse for an Argentine Steakhouse should be avoided. The food was not even mediocre, less exciting than fast food diners in the US. The meat tasted old, and a little off, although it was cooked correctly. The salad and the vegetables were acceptable, but the red wine was oxidized. Just not worth the price they charge, and disappointing on many levels. Finally, the waiter told us that service was not included in the bill, which is untrue and is actually contrary to German law. I gave him ten Euros just to get out of this creepy place.
