Boar's Head Hotel

Excellent pub with great service, parking on site, friendly bartenders and waitstaff. Had the potato stuffed with beans and cheese and a cider. What a huge potato stuffed to the gills! The other order was fish and chips. The plate held a huge piece of perfectly battered haddock fillet with side tartar. The chips were crisp and lightly oiled. Both lacked salt. The bottled water with lemon was a good too. We dined to Billy Holiday and Sarah Vaughn playing softly in the background and lively welsh banter between regulars at the bar. The chairs were comfy. The loo nicely appointed. A very nice English Day.
