Hands down best restaurant experience that we had in our week in Barcelona. This was the perfect place for the overall Barcelona drinks/tapas dinner night. It is not super fancy and absolutely not touristy. One of the owners was there and he completely took care of us, where we just ordered drinks and he took care of the rest of the meal (i.e. there is no menu you just tell him your preferences, eliminating the crippling choice anxiety, yay!). We got the freshest tomato/mozzarella/pesto dish, followed by fantastic fresh mussels, and for the entree it was perfect potatoes and pork. The dessert was a decadent berry cheesecake. I wish we discovered this place at the start of our trip so we could have come back multiple times but alas. Highly highly highly recommend!

This place is charming! A throwback to earlier times. We loved the ambiance!
Food: We were just looking for a snack and found this place on Yelp that was close to the Sagrada Familia.
Walked in and friendly host led us to our seat in the back. Lovely cured meats and bacalao croquettes. Seated amongst barrels of homemade wine, this was the Spanish experience we were looking for. Despite it being really hot outside, the interior was nice and cool.
I would recommend trying this place out if you are looking for a true local experience. Skip the tourist traps out there.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Matthew H.Washington, DC, Vereinigte Staaten82079195511. Juni 2018
Solid tapas located conveniently from La Sagarada Familia. The sangria is strong by the way. We ordered croquettes, ham, calamari, and bread with tomato.

Loved having tapas here. Tell one of the brothers serving you what you like, or let them know how hungry you are and let them choose.
It was a VERY laid back meal, but that's why I enjoyed it so much.
Food was great. Drink was great. Vibe was super chill and super great. I hope to come back one day.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Aleta D.Barcelona, Spanien378353. Sept. 2016
I was pleased to find a place just a half-block from La Sagrada Familia that really had a local flair, it doesn't cater to tourists. Thankfully I speak Spanish and am familiar with the local cuisine. The owner was nice, but a bit disorganized, and the other employee was not well trained. The food selection was quite limited: they didn't have any written menu, and weren't offering a lot of the dishes described in other reviews (he said they only do cooked foods on the weekends, I was there on a Thursday). The counter in front displayed 6 types of fish/seafood, but I'm not a big seafood person. The food I ended up getting was ok but nothing special, I left feeling a bit unimpressed.
I might try coming back another time on a weekend during a different time of year (not peak summer), perhaps they were understaffed because of people going on holiday. It seems like it could be great if they put a little more effort into running the place well.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Gen M.Manhattan, Vereinigte Staaten38514712. Dez. 2015
Don't stop here, nasty place, dirty, smelly. Just a plain mess

If you're close to Gaudi's cathedral then you are close to this spot. A friend in spain recommended this place and it was by far the best and most unexpected meal in Barcelona. We had just about everything they served and you really cannot go wrong in here. Seafood in general was my favorite with sardines and the baby eels on bread being my #1
Barcelona has to be one of the greatest cities in the world. Amazing people and places like this.
GO OUT in Barcelona at night, walk to Las Ramblas and sit at any fountain. Buy a beer from the locals and just take it all in. My #1 going out city in the world is Barcelona, so much fun !Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Bose O.CBD, Denver, Vereinigte Staaten05103. Okt. 2014
Good stuff. You gotta experience it. Great food, sexy waitress. Good good food. We also got a vermouth for free that was really good.
It's one of those places with a not so interesting look from the outside, but once you get in, it has these wine barrels. The stools are made if them too. The food is very good, we ordered all the tapas on the menu because they were 4 Euros each. It was a good time.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Cristin S.Columbus, Vereinigte Staaten22016157220. We ate here our first meal in Barcelona! It was a great transition into the world of tapas! They helped us choose the best things on the menu. We enjoyed every thing hat came to our table and gobbled everything down! Favorites include the mushroom croquettes, crab and pineapple salad and the potatoes with a yummy spicy sauce!

Didn't want to leave! A family owned shop that made you feel like family! It is an authentic bodega where you can feel the local spirit. The two brothers who run the bodega were genuinely interested in us having the best time ever and getting to know about us. Their specialty is the Jamon Serrano and their Vermouth. They tasted amazing, as everything else! Definitely returning tomorrow!
