Had little time to get something to eat before my sons baseball game at UTD. I stopped by without checking previous reviews. What a mistake. I ordered the Mongolian beef plate with white rice which was a little over $12. I sat down and noticed how dirty everything was. I thought well hopefully the food is good. Then I checked yelp reviews and was a little concerned. I was kicking myself in the head for not checking.

When the food came out I thought wow that is a huge bowl no wonder it was $12. Once I got it I noticed it was 85-90% dried white noodles and a thin layer of Mongolian beef on top. So disappointing on the actual portion. I took a bite of the beef and it was like eating a moist piece of beef jerky. Was absolutely terrible. I don't know if it is not a popular dish and just isn't ordered often so it had been siting around for several days. Either way don't know why it was even served. I took a bite of the dried noodles and they were so stale I couldn't bare to swallow it. So basically all I ate was the white rice. So I paid $12 for a cup of white rice which was the only edible item on my dish.

Save your money and eat elsewhere. Was probably top 5 of my most terrible places to eat.

Mongolian Beef of should I say beef jerky. Absolutely terrible. The fried noodles were so stale I couldn't eat them.

Ordered the Chili Garlic noodles with shrimp. The dish has an overpowering sour taste to it.

Not a good shrimp to noodle ratio and there are almost no veggies.

Terrible pad Thai. None of the correct veggies. Cabbage, red onion and green pepper do not pass for bean sprouts, scallions or celery. All which were missing. Gummy glass noodles overcooked and void of flavor. About a teaspoon of chopped peanuts got losses at first toss looking for fragments of egg + chicken.

They offered us soup and egg roll complimentary appetizers... Oh and there was a tax notice on the door..I told me them it was there but still there when we left. I noticed of the empty tables several had plates loaded with half eaten anything food. Ours was left the same way. No way I want to try to eat this as leftover to lunch tomorrow. $10.81 lunch fail.

I don't know when exactly this place went downhill. It used to be full flavored indo-chinese cuisine with decent portions and price. I am guessing the restaurant changed owners bc the service, the food quality have gone down immensely.

It is really sad to witness a business go down so fast. If the owner is reading the reviews pls make changes.
I used to be loyal customer for years but now I cannot pay for such poor quality.

      STALE Chicken
The service was slow. And this one is not a restaurant. It is more like self service restaurant.
I ordered Hot garlic chicken and chicken garlic noodles.
In both the dishes the chicken tasted funny and weird. It was STALE.
I told the hostess and she told the chef. I asked refund for at least the Hot garlic chicken gravy since I did not eat it. But they REFUSED!

Noodles I managed to eat some taking the chicken out.

No idea how this place gets health certificate when they offer stale chicken!! Please care for your customers health. We pay for good food NOT STALE food.

Let me begin by saying that this is not Chinese. It is what we Indians grew up eating as Chinese food back home in India. (In our defense, the chinese food available in the US is by no means chinese either , so get off you high horse will ya). This is quite authentic Indian Chinese and my taste buds loved their trip back memory lane.

We began with the Crispy Chili baby Corn and the Pan fried Chilli Paneer. Both were excellent and spicy as they should be. They probably wouldn't feel as spicy if you don't eat the Green chillis which are in the dish.

For the entree we had the Szechwan Fried Rice ( veggie) and the Hakka Noodles ( veggie). The Fried rice was excellent, spicy but not extremely so. The Noodles were also great but the rice stole the show.

I will most definitely be back. The only minor negative is that the dishes are a little more oily than they need to be ( especially the rice and noodles), but I'm not complaining. Some grease never hurt anybody.

The food at Bombay Chopstix is a Indian-Chinese fusion which sort of means they use Indian spice flavors (predominently chilli, garlic, ginger) in cooking various dishes of oriental origin. For the uninitiated, this might sound weird or even gross but the food actually turns out to be phenomenal! You have the fresh, crisp, stir-fried vegetables/meat going really well with chilli, garlic, ginger and other Indian flavors.

The place opened a couple months ago and as evidenced by the steady crowds, is really popular already. The concept is the same as many casual dining places where you order at the counter, pay there and grab a seat. Soon the food will come to you.

The menu is pretty extensive with a combination of "Indian Chinese" dishes as well as traditional "American Chinese" (cashew chicken, sweet sour chicken etc.). My recommendation is to stay with the "Indian Chinese" stuff. In appetizers try the "Drums of Heaven" (a completely new twist on chicken wings) or "Lat Mai Kai" (boneless chicken pieces fried and seasoned with ginger, garlic, shilli, scallions and soy sauces).

In the main course some of the highlights were the chilli chicken, schezuan chicken (although it had slightly more tomato flavor than normal and not enough heat), vegetable/shrimp manchurian, burnt garlic chicken (yum!). All of these come with a side of plain rice but I'd skip that and order some fried rice - either Schezuan or Burnt Garlic.

Food is served hot (temprature and spice), tastes really good and is usually in the $6-9 price range. As a previous reviewer mentioned, service can be hit-or-miss given how busy the place gets in the evenings but the food makes up for it.

There's no alcohol (not sure if it's BYOB but have never seen anyone drink). There is a kids menu although I'd skip the "chicken tender" (just one small piece of chicken on a stick) and get the hakka noodles with fries. Our kids sure loved the noodles.

I've been here three times in a month and I am definitely planning on being a regular especially of the quality of the food hold up. Give the place a try...!

This is my 4-5th Visit to this place and I have always being skipping to write a great review for this place. the best part about this restaurant is the consistency of taste. Keep serving you the same delicious food every time you go.

It's very CLOSE to the kind of Chinease Food indian's prefer and Yay ! I'm a fan of this place. May be the people going there with an expectation of Authentic Chinese food but it will be a mere disappointment for them but name say's it all BOMBAY chopstix.

Deliciously Awesome is the WORD for this place !!

I'm from Bombay so have eaten my share of good Indian chinese

I can honestly say that my meal here today was THE ONLY good Indian chinese experience I have had in my 8+ years in Texas and trying Indian chinese in Houston Austin and other place in DFW

I began my meal by ordering and then complaining to the person taking my order how the Indian chinese in Texas isn't up to the mark and he said try ours and let me know what you feel. He surely lived up to his word!

Chicken manchow soup - like you get in Bombay. Could've been a little less salty

chicken lollipops - great sauce, cooked perfectly

Burnt chili garlic fried rice - well made

Chili fish - I always judge an Indian chinese place by their fried rice and chilli chicken quality and this restaurant did well hitting those notes.

I also always order the shezwan sauce at my Indian chinese meals, pics have been attached. The sauce was also very good.

Indian chinese lovers need to try this place!
