I will actually never go anywhere else for a bra again!!

Started shopping at Bravissimo for bras when I was looking for a really good nursing bra when Mini MacDoo number 2 came along. My boobs had got to more stupendous proportions than even M&S could handle, and I wasn't happy with the advice given at the fitting there so figured I'd better find somewhere more specialist.

So I got properly fitted and woweee what a difference! I was wearing a good few back sizes too big and a good few cup sizes too small, but the difference in the 'lift' it gave me and how supported I felt was amazing!

That was two years ago now and since then I have lost a *considerable* amount of weight so have been back quite often to get a new bra that fits me properly as I've dropped down the sizes. The difference each time is amazing, I really do think it knocks another dress size off to have a properly fited bra that gives you proper lift.

The staff are always super helpful and really good at advising on the best styles and 'fits' to suit your shape.

The selection of bras is always great too, from functional sports bras and structural strapless bras, through supportive every-day bras to really pretty fancy bra & knicker sets.

Price-wise, yes you'll pay a bit more than you would at M&S, you're probably looking at £20-£30 per bra, but in my opinion it is worth every single penny. I'm gonna sound like Gok here, but you need that good structural foundation and it will make a huge difference to how fabulous you look in your clothes.

Go on. Treat your boobs*. They deserve it.

A mother of a friend of mine works at a Bravissimo branch and informed my girlfriend and I out the service they provided on several occasions before I eventually tried it out.

The company's theory is the way that all other bra fitters and underwear shops measure our lady lumps is incorrect and bad for our breasts! Bravissimo sizes often come up smaller around the chest and way more on the cup! For example a 32A becomes a 28 C due a system of measuring that I couldn't go into deal about without sounding rude due to my lack of correct terminology on the subject!

I found the whole experience a little weird as it went against anything I had ever learned about underwear in the past! However the staff were nice and very friendly and some of the bra's are really pretty. The prices are very expensive I feel and only often have the sizes in for bigger breast women as this is the company's concentrated area.

If you are struggling finding the right underwear I would recommend this service as staff are very efficient and fitting is free! However if you are happy with the size you are wearing I wouldn't bother yourself with it. All it did was slightly confuse me, get me a frilly bra and leave me £35 out of pocket!

Went for a bra fitting here, for my own privacy I wont reveal what they measured me as but I was way out. I found out I had been buying the wrong size bras for years...how embarrassing. The kind shop assistant assured me that around 8 out of ten women that came in the shop to be fitted were in fact wearing the wrong size bra...ladies we are useless ha ha.

Once I realised I was two sizes out I decided to treat myself to new bras because it was an obvious must in this situation. The range was fantastic and soooo comfortable.

I would really recommend you go and get yourself fitted here. Staff are so approachable and professional plus its a great excuse to buy lots of nice new underwear.

I went into bravissimo but did't get measured or anything like that so I couldn't comment on the service in that way. i went to have a look at the selection they had and found a few nice bits and pieces.

I'd heard about their alternative way of measuring but didn't have the need to check it out...maybe another day!

Anyway, there's some pretty pieces in so it's worth a look in.

My dear friend is very, erm, gifted in the chesticle department. After having bad fitting upon bad fitting at the usual high street staple for bras, she discovered Bravissimo a few years back. She's never looked back, she was so enthused with not only the service she received at Bravissimo, but the range of bras on offer that weren't those hideous beige lace numbers that resemble hammocks more than something you would actively choose to buy, oh and p.s. not only A through to C cups like to wear t-shirt bras, I mean hello, it's loud, it's frilly, it's bumpy, it's lumpy, it's got the Bayeux tapestry etched into each cup it's just perfect to wear under that plain white t shirt I've got, or you know, my work shirts, which show absolutely no trace of undergarment patterns no matter how hideous they look (!) Ok so stepping down off my soapbox now, my point is if you are top heavy, pop into Bravissimo, a lady with a tape measure will get to work on your measurements and more than likely tell you that you've been buying the wrong size most of your life, and when you are indeed in receipt of those measurements, you will be able to choose which interesting, brightly coloured, non-mundane, plain or fancy brassiere you desire. My only issue with Bravissimo is, that whilst they do charge on the higher side of prices for their bras they do not really cater for ladies with a back measurement above 40. Now if you're carting around anything above an E cup, and Bravissimo creates bras up to a KK, it is likely their back measurements are going to be a little larger than the average lady. Other than this little blip, the word variety comes to the fore when addressing the bra issue with top heavy ladies, variety of styles (basques, bodies, seamless, strapless, sports or sexy) and colours, patterns, cuts and shapes.

I recently brought two bra's on line from Bravissiso but found the fit not good so I decided to go to my nearest branch about 60 miles away to be fitted correctly. The young lady who was helping me said she thought I should be looking at chest size 30 and not what I had been buying 34.I bought two bra's and when I returned home I wore each one for an hour but it was so uncomfortable I could hardly breath. I returned the next day and was seen by another fitter who suggested I go up to size to 32 in the chest and down a size in the cup. This was better but I still can't wait to get home after work and take it off. Think my original size 34 is correct so not sure Bravissimo fitters no best! Having said all that I like the underwear and the staff were very pleasant but we know our bodies.
