Burger Time was highly recommended and it lived up to the hype.
This is not a gourmet burger joint. Drive thru only. Cash only. Cheap. Pure Grease. Pure Amazing!
I am a pretty healthy eater, so I only indulge in a burger on rare occasions. I ordered the double cheeseburger and it was amazing. Definitely a recommendation for the next time you are in Minot.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Lily H.Adora Trails, Gilbert, Vereinigte Staaten06115. Juli 2023
My husband and I ordered the mushroom Swiss and the jalapeño burger. Both some of worst burgers we've ever had. Couldn't take more than a few bites.
Ordered our daughter the chicken bites--also really disappointing.
Fries were actually great though!
As for service, nobody was rude or anything, the staff was fine. Drive through was quick.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Brandon S.Minot, Vereinigte Staaten0126. Feb. 2024
Jalapeno burger features a sweet salsa that carries no bite - no heat. The bun comes saturated with moisture. Instead of flavour, it delivers tasteless mush. Dreadfull.

Everything was great with my mushroom Swiss burger EXCEPT that it was LOADED with salt! I think this was the most salt I've ever had on a burger in my entire life. My lips and mouth and tongue were burning for hours.
The fries were under-cooked and also way too salty. I threw them out when I realized they were as over-salted as the burger.
IF we go back, I'll see if they can completely hold the salt.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kaitlin R.Minot, Vereinigte Staaten1212876014. Okt. 2020
We were driving around Minot doing errands and we both realized we missed the lunch bell. We chose to find a local drive thru, and my husband loves to test out burgers.
From the outside, the building is long and narrow, and simply states "Burgers, Fries, Pops". The menu is pretty basic, but it really hits a grand slam with having fries, onion rings, cheese curds, and cinnamon funnel cake fries. You heard me, Cinnamon Funnel Cake Fries! The price point is pretty decent, given the amount of food you can get for your $1.
Other foods on the menu were chicken strips and a variety of hot dogs. A great American fare! Additionally there are daily specials (I posted).
We both were wondering - what is this?
So we each ordered a burger, I got my usual, a bacon cheeseburger, and he chose the BBQ burger. We really wanted to test this place out, so we both got milk shakes, and then shared fries, cheese curds, and the cinnamon funnel cake fries. Yes, we ordered allll of it.
The staff at the drive thru were very detailed, welcoming, and polite. Also, it seems like this shouldn't have to be said, but they were also really competent.
The food came out HOT and FRESH, unlike when you go to other fast food places. The portions were not huge, but they were reasonable - and honestly - where they should be. My husband regretted not asking for another patty, and we both felt that the bacon was not worth it.
However, the burger patty had that grill broil taste to it, and the rest of the sandwich was really great. The fries are similar to McDonald's only not gross - they were pretty tasty. The cheese curds were on point with a flavorful breading and cheese that was perfectly melted and was a real curd. Finally, we tried the funnel cake fries - and they were just that. Fried dough with cinnamon -- only they looked like fries. They were really good.
At last, I do have to say, this is a great milkshake. He got strawberry and I got Oreo. They were thick, flavorful, and cold.
This place gets 5 stars for a great menu, great service, and great taste.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Brandon B.ND, Vereinigte Staaten0111. Mai 2023
A++ across the board!! Sharon and her crew of diligent and extremely helpful crew members truly set the standard of customer service! The menu has been revamped and pleasantly offers a wide array of options to quell the grumble of a hungry stomach! Highly recommend!

The food was so fresh. It's homemade to order. We had a #6, #5 and #2 and cheese curds. These Canadians completely approve. Great value. Great taste.

Yes made to order.
Years ago I lived here and I didn't give this ago. 12 years later coming back to the great state of North Dakota, I made my embarkation to the Burger Time, and wow it did not disappoint. It literally blew my socks off and actually got me to change my point of view on burgers, you see I thought In-N-Out was the best next to Whattaburger. I must say that I was moved. They really make burgers great again. If you have the time, then Burger Time is where it's at, otherwise you make the time. You won't wait 40 minutes in line for them to screw up your order like Wendy's does on nightly basis across the street. Oh heavens true, Burger Time is the Chic-Filet of burgers, flavors are home made and standards are from a higher calling. If covid has you down, then Burger Time will brighten your day or night.
Gotta try everything on the menu, maybe not all at once. But those cheese curds are on point, plus the onion rings. Only in a America you can get a mushroom Swiss that's delectable and memorable along with those curds that take your breath away, heck make it a double; I'm not driving. It's local, fresh and if you can smell it in the drive thru and see the smoke then it's probably a divine good place.
In my years of traveling the world, this is on point and people are so nice. Score for the home team.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Yolanda P.Max, Vereinigte Staaten0112. Juni 2022
Best Burger east of California! Always treated with respect, service is quick, and burgers are really tasty! My favorite burger place in Minot, ND.

It's a barely passable fast food burger in the same style as Burger King, but with no standards of service being followed.
I've been inside and both the kitchen and dining area were visibly disgusting and I honestly didn't even want to finish eating the food. The bun was soggy and the lettuce was old.
Don't waste your time. Just go to Burger King. (And before you think I'm just shilling for Burger King: no, I'd rate most Burger Kings as "average", not great, but at least you know what you are getting and they keep to a consistent standard)
If you want an actual "good" burger, even Denny's does it better (but hey, that's at least a diner). But if we're comparing fast food places (which is all Burger Time is) then if it can't be at least on par with the places it's trying to replicate, it isn't worth your time.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Connie E.Downey, Vereinigte Staaten012430. Second time getting Burger Time and my first was whatevs. There's not much places here to chose from to get an actual "good" burger ya feel? So I got a Mushroom Swiss burger and when I unwrapped it, it was a mess. My burger was like falling apart and had hardly any flavor. I was really sad because I just wanted a good burger. I didn't even finish it honestly. My bf said his burger tasted like it was reheated and I thought about it and so did mine (explains the sloppiness). I guess that's my bad for going an hour before closing ):. Fries are ok but I just gave it two starts because the customer service was decent. Tasted like any fast food place such as BK, Wendy's, and Carl's Jr.
