Burwitz Legendär

I was in Rostock when my cruise ported at Warnemunde, took the public transit into the old town of Rostock, enjoyed the beautiful scenery and it was lunch time! Thank god for yelp, cause if it wasn't for yelp, I probably would of not walked into Burwitz Legendar.

Their menu is all in German but you can ask them for the English menu. We ordered the famous Schweineschnitzel, German Sausage with Curry Sauce and a dish of filet fish. Of course being in Germany, I also ordered a glass of their local Lubzer beer.

Food was amazing here, the Schweineschnitzel (deep fried pork cutlet) was amazing! Fried to perfection and the pork had great texture and flavor, definitely my favorite dish out of the three. The German Sausage was also great, the curry sauce was spicy but not to the point where it covers all taste buds! Filet on the other hand was so-so, fried nicely too though, but fish was a little dry.

Overall, amazing experience at this restaurant with great food, beer and service all in a very resonable price!! If i ever go back to this area, I will visit again for sure.

Great location right on the main square in the centre of town. Lots ofoutdoor seating. We had the Schnitzel and Currywurst and both were huge! Delicious and the sides were good too. Washed it all down with a Sinalco Cola and enjoyed the people watching.
