Café To Be Or Not To Be

While stumbling around Berlin in a jetlagged, desperate state of hunger, I came upon the barely-noticeable Café To Be Or Not To Be. Through the wide windows, I spotted a man drinking coffee whilst on his laptop, therefore signaling to me that I could both utilize some wifi and finally get lunch!

Besides the large bar - stocked with several types of alcohol, some of which I do not think I have even heard of before - the inside of the café/restaurant is very quaint, with some soft music playing throughout a wide open area of simple tables, booths, and chairs. There were not many people inside, making for a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. The only two people working seemed to be mother and daughter, and although we had some slight communication troubles, I was able to order something with the word brie in it, which sounded good enough to me!

I was able to sit at a comfortable booth, and acquire some good, FREE, wifi. Soon enough, my lunch was brought over, turning out to be baked brie and bacon on a toasted baguette, with sides of salad and chopped cucumber and peppers. The salad was lightly dressed with an amazing vinaigrette, and the brie toastie was to die for.

As an added bonus, I was able to simultaneously do some sight-seeing; directly across the street and outside of the large windows is the Volksbühne Theatre, a beautiful landmark of Berlin. It was a great compliment to a fantastic lunch!
