Café Extrablatt

They don't even deserve a single star actually, but it doesn't work in this app. The food was just average, pretty standard for Germany.

The service was somehow discriminating, at least to me, since i was the only one with different skin color. The waitress who serves us somehow thrown the plate in front of us. And when we asked for the bill she was staring at me with disgust. While I did nothing but asking politely to pay my bill.

Will never go back, and carry on spreading bad words about this place. Definitely a no go place for non-german.

Eat double cheese bacon burger and thank me :) It can be the best burger I've ever eat.
There is free wifi and good music can come next to your table.

The 5 stars are more comparatively to the other ExtraBlatt in Köln, the one from Heumarkt, than standalone.
This one though is: smaller but spaceier, more quiet, and from far not so crowdy. Therefor, the personal is friendlier, and the service better.
They also are a bit cheaper, and serve a much better Kölsch (Sion instead of Petters). The muisc is still good, but not so loud, the WIFI is not overloaded, and they have nice programs on the TV.
All together, if you like the ExtraBlatt atmosphere, it could be good idea to try this one too.

I tried their brunch yesterday, restaurant is quite nice and can accommodate large groups, location is very good and people are nice. However I find the place over priced and not a huge variety of food. There was not Lebel on meat items and it was quite loud.
