Popped in at lunchtime, third of the restaurant was empty so thought this would be a nice treat whilst out xmas shopping.
Waited to be seated.

Two staff walked straight past without saying anything or smiling for that matter.
Finally got the waitress attention (who knew we were waiting), and asked where could we sit? Only to be rudely told they were full and that all tables were reserved.
Lovely way to treat potential customers, not.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kassandra P.Royal Leamington Spa, Vereinigtes Königreich136805219. Dez. 2012Erster Beitrag
I enjoyed Cafe Rouge! I know this place is a chain, but honestly, it doesn't feel like a chain at all.
Great service, and excellent dishes! We both had a mulled wine and a starter. I chose muscles and fries, my partner chose sautéed mushrooms. For my main, I had the salmon Niçoise. Very, very tasty! Lots of fresh veggies, egg, crispy salad, and the salmon was cooked perfectly. My partner had the duck with potatoes and string beans. He finished before me, so, I think it's safe to say he enjoyed his as well.
I haven't given much notice to Cafe Rouge before, but I might start going there more frequently now. The prices are a bit high (because it's French??) but at least it's good food and great service.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Qype User (Liam…)London, Vereinigtes Königreich7881516. März 2009
Standard Cafe Rouge, but in Leamington! Good food at a reasonable price - friendly service.

Café Rouge is located near to the Royal Priors shopping centre. I have visited this restaurant several times, for breakfast, lunch and dinner and have never been disappointed. There's always a good atmosphere, it gets busy but rarely too noisy. The staff are friendly and helpful, service is always quick and of a high standard. The restaurant has an authentic feel to it and the food is delicious. There are a few special menu deals on offer, depending on the time of day you wish to dine. There's also a couple of vouchers doing the rounds at the moment, a 2 for 1 and a £10 off, so if you have never tried Café Rouge before, it's the perfect opportunity to give it a go!

My partner is a fan of Cafe Rouge, and we ventured in here one Saturday morning. It's very popular, it was pretty full, but we were still served relatively quickly with drinks, but had to wait a while for our breakfast. It's a bit of a hike to the loos, which are upstairs, but the food was nice, and we'd definitely return

A fabulous 'fail-safe'. The food is always good, the atmosphere is always relaxedgood wines etc etcAnd they never seem overwhelmed by large tables.

As part of the Cafe Rouge chain, you know what you are getting here. And what you are getting is pretty good. The food is 'French', and generally very tasty. It's certainly not the cheapest place around, but they do take Tesco Clubcard Deals vouchers, so you can get yourself a 'free' meal now and then. They also run a Cafe Scientifique upstairs on the 3rd Monday of the month, if you are interested in listening to scientists talking about their work it is worth popping along.
