These guys are the BEST! We were coming into Gatwick late at night from an international flight (Morocco). You never know how long delays will be, or how long customs will take. Our driver was there with a smile and a sign with our name on it. What a welcome sight after 12 hours of travel time!

Our driver was so friendly. He told jokes most of the way to our Heathrow connection, and kept us very amused. He also had the car stocked with waters & CANDY! Kids thought he was the best driver ever.

The company was professional. I arranged everything over the internet, pre-paid the fare and it all went as planned. No complaints. We haven't always had good luck with transportation companies, seems like they're never where they should be. This place is fantastic - highly recommend.

Excellent service! New, clean Merc and friendly driver! Have been met at Heathrow to drive to Wimbledon and back the same day; £160 for the return trip.

This company was great! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a private transfer from the port of Dover to a London airport. Booking was easily done through their Website....and they even went to extra mile by calling me with a question after I had booked, because they heard the ship was docking later than usual, and wanted to make sure we had allowed enough time to disembark. Nice service! Their driver was on time and courteous...and a wiz at fitting a LOT of luggage into the available space. They also offer a discount for a cash payment, versus credit cards. All in all, I highly recommend, and will use them again!!

Highly recommend this service if you need a car from Heathrow. On past trips to London I've always relied on public transit, but this time I was coming with my toddler and I didn't think I could handle my suitcase and a stroller on a long tube ride with transfers. It was great to have a friendly driver waiting for us after we cleared customs, plus a clean car with a car seat for my kid.

I surprised my husband with a tour of the city, after pick up from London Heathrow, and we both ended up surprised. Driver Steve, which I just found out is the owner of CC picked us up and made us feel like royalty. I was expecting a quiet ride, and I am sure if I asked for that, it would have been. Steve was lively and very informative. He gave us some history of the places we were passing and answered questions we had about places to go, to eat, off the beaten track kind of places.

I will be using this service again and would recommend it to anyone wanting tours, rides to and from the airport, etc.

The only problem with recommending the service so highly, is that they may be booked when we travel again.

Just used CCS this morning on arrival to Heathrow from NJ/USA. I was referred to Steve by his "competitor" and friend due to unavailability. There were no hidden charges. We were delayed by Customs/Border Patrol by an hour but Steve patiently waited. He had a child seat for our 4 year old, water, tissues, and even a small treat for our daughter. I plan to tell everyone I know about CCS upon my return to the US. Extremely professional, respectful and funny. Gave us a mini tour of central london during our drive due to traffic and made recommendations about some local sites. Do not hesitate in booking with CCS.

Every so often you make a mistake and it turns out better than expected.
Last Saturday I realised I had not booked my return collection from Heathrow back to Barbican.
I phoned my normal service from New York and I realise it was late in London but I was made to feel like second class citizen and in essence told I should have known to book earlier this was around 7.30 PM UK time.
Not wanting to beg I ended the call.
Then became the search for someone to collect me.
I did not want to stand at the rank and my company don't like Taxi journeys that are long distance.
Serching on line I came up with several options but most of the forms did not allow bookings for cars within the next 24 hours.
I was becoming apoplectic my friend suggested the Central Chauffeur site and I said the numbers Toll Free its for the USA i've seen it already.
She pointed out that it also had UK numbers on it too.I missed that bit.
Half expecting an American to answer I heard a bried English message then a UK ring tone.
It took minutes to book and the confirmation email even had the sign the driver would be holding attached.
Next drama we board the plane only then to be delayed for nearly 2 hours freaking that I would be charged for the time the plane was due (The other service charge!) I called only to be told by Central that they track the flight but they would take more intrest in it to be sure of being in in for the arrival that was correct.
I called as we taxied just to be sure and was assured all was in hand.
Sure enough the driver was waiting and took my bag (Something the other service don't seem inclined to do.)
I wanted to stop to grab a water but the driver said he had bottles on board.
My final surprise was Wifi in the car. The driver told me not all cars had it but many do and more are adding it.
All in all I am delighted.
One fly in the ointment Central mainly do distance journeys and to the Airport so we cant use them day to day.
However we used them this week twice for journeys to airports and each time the comments from collegues were really positive.

i ordered a car this morning, they confirmed, billed me, and then canceled 10 minutes before pick up!

We were originally informed that we should take the Heathrow Express to the house we had rented. Oops - not running the week of our trip so had to find an alternative. Searching Yelp we came across the good reviews for Central Chauffeur...and what a find it was. I originally called the 24/7 number and missed a direct connection - THEY CALLED ME BACK - imagine that, loved it!! We determined that our daughter's flight came in to a different terminal and Steve helped me to arrange the best plan for everyone to get picked-up and on our way - this included one delayed flight which they accommodated for us with no problem. We found the whole experience so wonderful that we booked both our and our daughter's return trips to the airport through Central. Don't bother with any other service! Book now and kudos to Steve as a service professional and driver.

i have used many different chauffeur companies but I have never come across a more courtious chauffeur cimpany. Having arrived at Dover I was immediately greeted by a driver carrying a board with my name on it , he offered to carry all my bags (and there were quite a few ) to his car. When I got on board the car he explained the route that we would be taking and asked if I wanted for him to point out the historic sites on my journey to Heathrow or would I like to work or sleep.. I replied that I would like him to point out those sites .He then showed me that there was water in the back of the seat in front of me and we proceeded to swiftly yet safely drive to Heatrow . He was at all times humerous yet allways polite, and I was sorry that we arrived at Heathrow so quickley.
I would certainly recommend this company to as many people as I can.
