I've visited Chez Marino several times, and have no hesitation recommending it. Whether you're looking for a venue for a business casual meeting, or a relaxing meal to share with family or friends, all the food I've tried here is exceptional, and the prices are very reasonable as well.
Among the biggest plusses for me is the fact that the staff is always incredibly helpful, efficient, and super friendly!
The atmosphere here is casual, but it's also still a great place to do a business lunch. I've never had a bad meal or dining experience here :-)Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - R P.Market East, Philadelphia, Vereinigte Staaten67713028. Juli 2023
I walked in and while browsing the menu which I could not easily translate I asked them if they had any chicken pizza. The guy just ignored me and then I asked if they had any beef or pepperoni, once again he just looked away and when I insisted he said something in which sounded like go away .
Then another guy came and he answered jt when I asked him.
This is not the way to treat a tourist.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Isabel S.Brooklyn, Vereinigte Staaten0320. Sept. 2023
My favorite local Italian restaurant. Great comfort food, fast and delicious pizzas. Friendly service and nice outdoor or indoor seating.

One star for the sheer fact that they didn't even serve us. Period. We got up and left after waiting for about 20 minutes for someone to just take our drink order, which did not happen. We were sat right next to another couple... at the same table!!! So weird... like, how can you have a conversation with someone in your bubble like that??

We stumbled upon this pizzeria restaurant just nearby our hotel. Having French and Swiss food all week we were joe in the mood for some Italian. The octopus was a little chewy and needed better seasoning. The pizza, a coal fired, was delicious, but they call prosciutto - Parma ham so make sure when you order you get the right thing. In the USA it is reversed. I was looking forward to their tartufo but it was a disappointment. It looked nothing like the picture in the menu which is what real tartufo from Pizzo Italy is like. All in all it was a good meal. But if you show a picture of tartufo in your menu, make sure what you serve is the same.

Absolutely fantastic food, great service, and without a doubt the friendliest restaurant I've ever been in. Not surprisingly they are packed (at least for lunch), still, we were able to get a table without a reservation. Next time though I will call ahead. Only drawback is very high prices. 100 CHF for lunch for two, with two small salads to start (excellent), two pasta dishes (amazing) and a single Panna Cota for dessert. One glass of wine and an apple juice to drink.

Chez Marinos, one of my first memories of Geneva all those many (12) years ago!!
Lets begin by saying, this isn't the kind of place you go to get quick tasteless pizza. This is an Italian, family-run business with a great ambience. Try to make a reservation as it's always full on a Sunday and Friday nights.
The food, despite having a rather large menu, is rather good quality for the price. The pizzas are the major bonus point for this location as they are cooked right in front of you in a traditional stone oven. The toppings are all fresh and getting to see the pizza you are about to eat being made in front of your eyes is always cool. Try to get one with an egg on it, I know it sounds foul but it's wonderful - especially from that stone oven.
The owner also helps to make this a fun place to visit, being friendly to all the visiting customers, singing away in italian and telling his sons off for flirting with the customers.
The deserts are also a major positive - Tiramisu and Profiteroles if you can't decide. They are both out of this world.
These guys must be doing something right, as we STILL keep going back even after these years.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jodi V.Moorpark, Vereinigte Staaten47211. Sept. 2019

This was my second visit here and I must say that its becoming a new favorite. the service is great, plus the owner is the cutest old Italian guy who sings random songs throughout the night..its a casual place that looks like a pizzeria when you first walk in however the food is more than pizza..I have eaten delicious tagliatelle here that is home made, plus the fish is fresh and tasty....I tasted this seafood dish of my husbands t hat came with mussels, clams, a fillet of some kind of white fish, calamari, etc....they served it in a huge platter and kept it on a ho t plate for his second round..I ate the arugula with Parmesan salad, which was perfect and my dinner, a veal Marsala was tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned.
