Cirivello's

It's Tuesday, my bi-weekly stop to checkout the improvements at Cirivello's...tonight I had the Orchard Salad with chicken. Very nice!
Big goings on here tonight....this is the site of the election night parties for Gerrie Shipske and Carl Kemp. The place is hopping!!!

Cirivello's isn't terrible, but its definitely not fantastic.

I've come here a hand full of times recently with my family to watch the games on Sundays. So the actual bar is cool. It's everything else that's just mehh.

The waiters are fine. There's been a few times where they just forgot about us. As in they came by to take drink orders and then we didn't see them for another half hour. Not cool. We were so hungry and our waiter just vanished. He clocked off or something because we asked for help from someone else and then they just became our server when he said he would go check where he is.

The food is whatever. I've had the BLT which is good. The sweet potato fries are gross. They literally pour brown sugar on them and it's disgusting. I don't want sugar on my french fries and I don't think anyone else would either. The pizza is bland, so are the burgers. Wings are also bland. I've come to the conclusion that the food is just a giant miss here.

Don't come here expecting anything fantastic. It's a good place to come get a couple of drinks and watch a game, but I wouldn't order food or expect exceptional service at all.

this place has been renovated and the "family" side is clearly separate from the "bar" side now. Bar food is very good and above average as far as bar food goes! Good thin crust on the pizza, but sauce, mozarella and pepperoni taste store bought because the flavor is just "ok". Same with buffalo wings...not very "buffalo-ey" (new word I claim credit for ;) ). Service was excellent, music is nice (live entertainment on fridays from 5-8pm. iPod or jukebox after that. Tater tots were very tasty and well seasoned. All in all a good experience. Our pizza took WAY too long so the mgr comped some amazing creme brulee for us and it was VERY GOOD! Mistakes happen, but, classy joints make you feel special and take care of you. This place definitely did that so that gives them some brownie points in my book.
Great for groups, sports teams, etc... also great place to hang and taste their menu of cold brews or libations. We will be back and I will definitely think about bringing sports teams here because some of their "deals" that include pizzas, fries, etc are great values!
So, as the rating says, "Yay, I'm a fan"!

This spot would also have no trouble housing a big event of any kind lots and lots of seating

Had the nachos with chicken, super delicious. And it's a huge portion so plan on sharing it.

The mac n cheese was really underwhelming. Yes it's super cheesy but the cheese sauce didn't taste that great.

The veggie burger was pretty tasty though.

I'll probably come here again but would not order the mac n cheese.

Up here for 2 days from San Diego for a business meeting. Living in North San Diego am pretty picky re: breweries. I thought very cute and good. The staff had a really good knowledge about their beers which is good. Coming from North San Diego where you cant spit and not hit a brewery this is a great addition to the relatively SMALL micro brew market in Orange County where I grew up and spent formative years (OCC an Chapman College).

Thanks for a good experience especially coming in alone as an "over 40" female.

I used to go to Cirravellos with family because it had a good menu and great game room for my grandkids.
Went in yesterday and was shocked!
It was dark, inhospitable and we sat to order and waited 10 minutes for service that never came. As we left I mentioned the problem to a young man behind the bar and he said:

"Then guess you can go elsewhere "

We did, and won't return. What a Dump

Thursday thru Sunday can't pick a wrong day .... go there with the fam and have dinner or lunch and come back at night to watch a game or fight and have some drinks ... live bands usually Thursdays and Fridays dj on Saturdays ... and don't forget one of the best bartenders and owners I know derf ....

When I'm in SoCal, I'm forced to watch the Lakers play.. cause well, all my LA friends are huge Kobe fans. But am I willing to fork over $150/ticket to watch them play at Staples Center? Hell to the no! (#DubNation all day errday!) That's where Cirivello's comes into the picture.

With plenty of parking and a huge indoor space with tons of TVs, I knew I was going to have a fun time already. They have typical sports bar food and a decent selection of alcohol. I had some pizza, drank some beers, talked some smack, laughed with my friends, talked more smack after the Lakers lost, and then called it a night. :)

Simply put, this is a great place to grab a bite with your friends, watch sports, and even listen to live music (later at night).

Went there to watch the Mayweather-Pacqiouo fight.

Service for food was slow, they told us it was about a 2 hour wait for food and then they closed the kitchen around 8 PM before the main even started, they obviously did not plan ahead by having more cooks available.

When the food finally came it tasted ok but we ordered combo with pizza, wings, fries and nachos. The fries and nachos never came but they brought extra wings about 10 minutes before we left, the guy who delivered them said they were free, the server said they were a substitute for the fries and nachos.

We eventually got them to take it off the bill, but almost everything that night seemed like a hassle.

Might give it another shot when they aren't as busy.
