Coopers' Tavern is a basic, unpretentious little boozer in Burton, but one with a more than decent selection of real ales on hand pumps. A good place for a quick pint, but not necessarily a place to linger. Decor is very basic, too. Staff are friendly indeed, and they have their own little beer festivals on occasion. Your friendly neighborhood pub.

Very good selection of real ale, with something to satisfy the light, medium or dark ale drinkers out there. There are all manner of flavoured wines and GREAT barsnacks like Jalapeno Pretzel Pieces and Mary Berry Chocolates.

The staff are always lovely and helpful, suggesting what I should drink when I'm in and steering me away from the one that made me talk the local MP half to death (Sarah Hughes if you're wondering. The drink that is)

the only thing that lets this place down is the soft drinks - someone has to have them but if you do they are tiny and warm.

What an amazing little public house! It really does have the feel of a literal public house with the feeling like you're sitting in someones living room. The staff and landlady were very friendly and allowed us to order food in from nearby because they only serve food on Sundays.

There is no bar as such but a cluster of cider and ale barrels interlaced with homemade flavoured wines, including a ginger wine that turns your face inside out with each sip.

I'm not an ale drinker so I asked the barman to recommend something. He wasn't an ale drinker so he just let me try a bit of everything until I found the one I liked best.

A typically English, old fashioned and quaint little gem that's well worth the experience.

This pub is located in a little backstreet just outside of burton centre. From the outside it looks abit like a terraced house and as you walk in you can see its only the size of one aswell!!. The bar is right at the back and is tiny but very well stocked with locally brewed beers and wines ( be careful some of them are lethal!!) Its a warm and friendly local that hosts beer festivals, live entertainment, quizz nights, cheese and wine nights and much much more. Great palce out for a quiet drink or a fun filled evening out. The only downside has to be that it has no garden as its very small and that the toilets are outside but thes pros far outweigh the cons.
