Donation for a good cause was a cover to sell an item that was supposed to be returned for $30.00 more than I could have purchased it elsewhere.. Hustled by a store manager that I thought was super cool. Hustled...I found the same laminator on line for a lot less that the shelf price. Aand less than the pricee he quoted was a favor..My receipt was for a do action to a local school. Slick move Mr. STORE Manager...I won't be shopping here again. Should have remembered the service from years ago when you were in our neighborhood

Great heavy duty machines. I needed three sets of 200 pages. Only took 20 minutes. Hard to get owner to smile, but I did it. No nonsense place. Cheap. Tough parking, but worth it.

I come to Copy Max mostly to fax paperwork from Chicago to Arlington Heights Illinois. While discovering Copy Max via Yelp, I took notice that many reviews mentioned price, which prompted me to stop in, plus it was near my neighborhood. During my first visit, I noticed the many services that Kenny Kim offers at Copy Max, which ranges from faxing; computer repair; laminating; mailbox; business cards and a place to use the internet.

As someone that has went to FedEx often, I noticed the cheaper price difference in a heartbeat between the two, which was a big difference. Copy Max trumps FedEx prices by being cheaper, and you will not have to deal with a long line of customers going to Copy Max.

I not only save with printing here, but with faxing as well! Copy Max charges $1.00 for your first sheet faxed then .75 for the next sheets needed to fax. As for printing, prints are .7 cents per page depending if its black & white or colored copies.

Short and sweet review.

After getting laid off from my office, needed to print copies of my resume. Went in and was able to for dirt cheap prices. Made 20 copies (1 page each) and cost with tax, $2.50, if I remember correctly.

Excellent prices and service, nothing more and nothing less needs to be said.

The fact that an internet/computer time rental place still exists anywhere on the northwest side of Chicago is worthy of some stars. The fact that I'm writing this review on my phone, about to get to work and sit on Microsoft Word all day, and will probably edit the review's placing in a list at the library makes pay-per-use computing pretty obsolete.

I'm guessing the only people who still would use it on a regular basis are tourists. And how many of these are desperately looking for internet or to electronically crop a photo while shopping boutiques in Wicker Park?

I mean, besides people like me who are totally addicted to computing regardless (and who don't really like boutiques).

Make no mistake, this is *not* an internet cafe. You can't get coFFEE here but you can get coPIES (and rudimentary office supplies at cheaper prices than the Kinko's a few blocks away). What you can also get here is relatively slow internet and computer services (like the Office suite and photoshop) pretty much down to the minute. They charge $6.00 per hour. But they will break it down to five minute incriments. 15 minutes, for example, is $1.50.

And you can do anything you want with the computer. I mean programwise. I'm sure there are certain activities that are frowned upon and they do expect you to wear pants at all times (sadly). But if there's a site that you don't want anyone to know about that you enjoy visiting, this might be the place to do it - not that I'd know. I swear they must have to clean these computers daily because they have to be swarming with viruses (virii for all the geeks who want to correct me) with what I'm guessing some users do.

The Boring Store is right down the street but I have to guess this is the place where the real spy stuff goes down! Except on Sundays. If they were actually open on Sunday when the library is closed, they might earn a fourth star. As it is, they're not. But they definitely serve for file and photo cropping services in a pinch and I'm glad they're still around even if unnecessary to probably 90% of the population.

I have been in the neighborhood since 1995 and always received excellent service at this place. They are the main reason I decided NOT to buy another printer.

This place is the best for quick copies, scanning, printing, etc. Super quick, super cheap, super convenient.

There is seriously NO REASON whatsoever to go to Kinko's if you're in the area. This place is 100x better.

I used Copy Max today to scan 17 articles I had written onto a Flash Drive. The work was done at Copy Max very professionally, quickly, and inexpensively. I dropped the work off in the morning and was told I could pick it that afternoon. Kenny is a man of few words. The place is unprepossessing looking. Don't be put off. This is THE place to go! Extremely good price with quality prints and fast service, no need to go to a kinko's. The place doesn't catch your eye right away but you can tell the owner is very knowledgeable and he helped me improve my flyer print outs which I needed that day. Seems like a small family business.
Keep in mind there's a pricing difference between having him design flyers and printing vs you giving him a finalized design to print. Regardless, extremely good pricing. I'd definitely come here for any print outs, copies, colored flyers, or even simple business cards. Seriously can't beat this pricing and quality prints.

There aren't a lot of places with these kinds of office supplies that are easy to get to in Wicker Park and nearby. I stopped by one day for copy paper and was very happy with it.
