Curry 66

I was told this is the place to go for curry wurst. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.

I ordered that and a potato salad. spicy level i chose was 4. the staff also gave me a sample of 5. There is a gap between 4 and 5. 4 is mildly spicy whereas 5 is spicy enough to cause me to scratch my head. if you are used to spicy food like i am, order at least the 5.

We walked and walked and walked until we finally got here. We went on the adventure to eat here based on a recommendation by locals. As a person who keeps hot sauce in my bag (swag) I thought I could handle anything that Curry 66 threw at me. I told the young people behind the counter to hook me up with a level 8. They laughed and let me try an eye droppers worth of the level 5 on the end of a fork. Y'all. The spice. It floored me. I was laugh crying and they were laughing along with me. I was not ready for the heat. It was intense! But the guys were good sports and we all had a really great laugh after I stopped crying!

My companion and I got the currywurst at the level 4 and it was perfect. Just the right amount of heat. It was worth the trek. The young people behind the counter were super friendly and jovial. I would definitely visit again!

Super good currywurst especially for the price. I very much enjoyed the sauce here, pretty flavorful and solid. One of the people in our party got the super hot one thats at the top of the Skoval chart and i tried it.. fuhhh it was hot but doable. I just dont see how it would be enjoyable to eat the entire thing at that temperature. I just got the medium heat and was good enough for me.

Tables were clean and the customer service was friendly and accommodating. We dont speak German and they were very nice about it and helped us out cause their english was fluent. I eat here every time I'm in this part of Berlin even though there are other currywurst spots around the area.

Ok, so this was my first ever currywurst but I soon realised it was also the best currywurst I'd have!

Curry 66 is in a really cool area of Berlin, in the evening the streets burst into life with loads of restaurants and bars. Currywurst and fries came to about €3.60 I think, you have a choice of sauces that are categorised by heat! The scale is from 0 to 10, with anything above 3 fitting into the uncomfortable subcategory :-O I went for 3 and it was hot but just about perfect, but if you're up for the challenge go higher!

The staff were really friendly, I got talking to the owner and could see how passionate he was about currywurst ;-).

Spicy food at last! I like their ten levels of spiciness, although it was frustrating that they refused to give me higher than a six. Come on, I can handle an eight or nine. I was perfectly fine after six...

I don't have to eat Currywurst every day, but sometimes, there is a craving for it. And this place - although not as Berlineric like Curry 36 (Kreuzberg) - does a damn good job satisfying this craving for the wurst.


The price is also almost unbeatable and the presentation of the wurst and fries is pretty hip. ;)

I'm not brave enough to declare this as the "best currywurst in Berlin", but it is one of my favorites! The wursts are large and crispy and cheap. You can choose from 10 different sauces of ascending spiciness; I usually go for the #3 or #4. They are very reluctant to serve you above level 5 without you first proving yourself by surviving a sample. The French fries are good - not handcut or anything but they are always crispy and never soggy. You can also order potato salad, which I haven't tried yet but looks pretty good. Curry 66 is the perfect place to go for a late night wurst in Boxi!

Great place for a cheap meal in Berlin. Currywurst sausage with 10 levels for hotness. I'm not into spicy food, so Level 5 for hot enough for me. Great place for tourists and large groups.

The staff is really friendly and wants to you have a good experience. Very talkative and will help you out taking pictures. They like to push you to getting hotter and hotter sausages to upsell their drinks. But overall, it was one of the nicer experience of our trip.

i tried my first currywurst ever here for breakfast about 6 years ago after a hard night of partying needless to say that it was incredibly delicious! i don't know what they sprinkle on top, but it's damn tasty. the place is busy as hell all the time too! they have lots of other tasty fast foods as well. a real tourist trap if you are looking for the best currywurst in berlin!

Ok, aber im Kiez gibts bessere. überzeugt eher durch zu scharfe gewürze als guten Geschmack
