There are other spots like with Dal Moro's but there is nothing like it. Nearby you can find other pasta spots with the same concept but nothing compares. Dal Moro's only has 8 different options for their pastas but all of them are good. All the pastas run about 8 euros each and you can add toppings for a small additional cost. Each delicious pasta comes out in a paper container nice and hot and ready to be eaten.
I came here with one other person and we got their pesto and squid ink pasta. We also got their tiramisu as well. My favorite of the two was the pesto pasta which I added mushroom and mozzarella. It was insanely good, full of flavor, cooked to perfection, and had plenty of sauce. The squid ink pasta was also good. We also added mushroom and mozzarella. We were impressed with how much squid pieces was in it. It was pretty good. The tiramisu was just okay and can be skipped.
The shop is really small. Usually there is a long line but on that Sunday we came at 3pm there wasn't a line thankfully. We just waited for one other group before us and we were next. The inside is tiny and maybe fits 8 people. We were able to luckily eat in there though. Our total was about 21 euros for 2 pastas and a tiramisu. Pricing is very affordable and they take credit card. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for something affordable and delicious.Helpful 15Thanks 1Love this 13Oh no 1 - 9. Nov. 2023
There's a lot of great pasta in Venice, this is not it. I'm shocked at the ratings.
My husband and I had the bolognese and cacio e pepe. The pasta was no where near al dente, they were soft and bordering on mushy. The sauce was atrocious, I thought I was eating pasta from a can.
On top of that, they shamed us for not finishing. We try not to ever waste food, we ate about half of each and just couldn't anymore. I went to throw it away and the cashier called me out and tried to shame me in front of a line of people.
They had been watching my husband and I eating it....very strange. I could have said this pasta is not good, but why make a scene. This is my opinion, it' was disgusting to be treated this way. I can understand pride, but I paid for it. If I don't like, I'm not going to finish and shouldn't be shamed for it. Not everyone enjoys this pasta, how about mind your business and not treat people this way.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - 14. Aug. 2023
Food (1/5): Straight up some of the worst pasta I've had coming out of a restaurant. We got the meat sauce bolognese with chicken. The best way to describe it is what we overheard another group said: it tastes like microwavable pasta. It's overcooked, the chicken tasted odd like it was microwaved, and the pasta had a weirdly bad texture.
Service (4/5): We had no issues with the service. They took our order and food came fast.
Ambiance (3/5): No seating inside or room to eat so you have to go and eat it outside. The concept seemed cool because we saw a bunch of people around the canal eating this pasta but surprisingly it turned out to be bad food.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 2 - Chantelle Y.Waikiki, Honolulu, Vereinigte Staaten0666. This was honestly surprisingly delicious. I didn't have high expectations but wanted to give this place a try. I got the carbonara and it was really creamy & the pancetta was crispy. I was trying to hold off until Rome to try Carbonara because I had reservations for 2 restaurants that supposedly had the best according to locals. I'm so glad I gave this place a try because both of the restaurants I had the carbonara in Rome didn't live up to the hype. This take away pasta was a big portion for the price extremely saucy and tasted pretty damn good. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a quick, affordable & yummy pasta.

Dal Moro's is basically fast food pasta. There are about ten things on the menu, each of which is a little cardboard box of pasta. You get to pick a sauce. There are better orders than others. The cacio e pepe is very heavy as the pour the sauce on extremely thick. The spicy calabrese pasta is very light and simply good, but the oil at the bottom shows they used A TON of oil. So I'm general there is way too much sauce used for the amount of pasta, but the taste is pretty alright. For the price it's good, but could and should be better. There is a little standing room for eating but otherwise you'll be eating outside somehow. Service is extremely quick, like, questionably quick.

Dal Moro's has a fun concept: a quick, tasty pasta you can take to-go. No guilt, no shame. You can take this pasta and walk around with it while appreciating the beauty of Venice all around you! There are a variety of options and toppings to chose from. You can customize your order to get exactly what you want. For the price, I don't think you can do much better for some quick food on the go in Venice. There are many places that are fancier and more "traditional/authentic," but if that's the experience you're after you should look for an actual sit-down restaurant. Grazie, Dal Moro's!

Are you kidding me?! This place is amazing... my husband and I don't eat fast food but I wouldn't even put this gem in that category. We came to Venice and felt that so many of the restaurants were tourist traps, not even ran by Italians. We got frustrated, I started googling and found this spot. We ate here every night we were in Venice. It was some of the best pasta we had our entire trip 3 week trip in Italy. The pesto fusilli with added chicken was our favorite! We also tried the Alfredo fusilli with added red pepper and mushrooms which was a great kick, Bolognese bigoli, Romana bigoli with added chicken. You can customize the dishes. The pasta is made fresh on the spot. It comes out so quick. The owner works the counter and is so friendly and welcoming. I'm thankful to know he opened one of these restaurants in Tampa where we are from! I don't want to have to live without this experience and quality for the rest of my life and now I don't have to! :)

Not a bad place for quick bite of pasta. Ordered bolognese added red chilli for. 50.euro. Genovese with chicken added.
Over all line went fast even though seemed long... Food took about 5 mins or so of wait after ordering.
Taste was not bad.. It was pretty good. If I'm hungry and I happen to walk by I'll eat again but I wouldn't make the trip to come down and eat again.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 1 - 12703369331229. Juni 2022
YUMMM!!! With only a few free days in Venice, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to try Dal Moro's. It was good (not THAT good) but still worth the trek. Some friends and I came here and split two pasta boxes, leaning up against the side of the building to enjoy since we couldn't loiter anywhere else. The line was pretty long so I wouldn't call this Italian FAST food.
Peek into Dal Moro's to see the readerboard of options for pasta, sauce, and toppings. Or watch them actually make the pasta through the window. So many different combinations. I got the pasta with squid ink sauce, squid ink meat, garlic, and parmesan. DELICIOUS and very filling. They discourage closing the box and saving the leftovers, but it's just SO much for one person. I would totally come back and try something different next time!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0
