Delzepich Eis

This has been my favorite ice cream shop in Hamburg for years. They have some very interesting flavors. A few times they have tasted a bit bland, but usually I like what I get.

What really makes Delzepich stand out from others is that their flavors aren't heavily sweetened. Too much sugar tends to make everything taste the same: sweet. But if you use real ingredients, then those flavors come out more when they aren't buried under spoonfuls of sugar. Delzepich seems to understand that.

Everything is homemade. Prices is are reasonable for the portion sizes. Bring time on a warm day, as the line will be long.

The ice cream is acceptable, but it's mostly water and sugar, and it's difficult to taste anything else.
If you are planning to have a break with something fresh then you could try it. Otherwise not the best ice cream you can find in Hamburg.

This is AWESOME, DELICIOUS homemade milk based ice cream. The taste is really light and not overly sweet and their flavors are creative and seasonal with daily new offers. If you are visiting Hamburg - or live in Hamburg, you need to go here.. this is genuine and not like those nasty fake Gelato piles ("Haufen") artificial premixed sugar fluff. This is the best ice cream in Hamburg!!! I'm sad my brother move out is the neighborhood otherwise I would be here more often

Inexpensive with decent portion sizes.

Quality isn't good by modern "home made ice cream" standards - not creamy at all, flavors too bland.

A bit disappointed to have made the detour after all the good reviews...

All I can say is wow. I come here everyday due to their fresh natural ingredients that they use in their ice cream. I love it how they create new and alternating flavors daily. You are always surprised by what waits in store for you. Highly recommend to any ice cream connoisseurs! A++
