I ordered the beef teppen rice, and it was delicious. Not too salty just right. Service was good and the young man at the counter that helped me was polite and helpful.

A German attempt at a hipster-ized American diner that pretty much succeeds. The burgers are a bit pricey hovering around the € 10 mark, but they're tasty with an upscale presentation.
The crazy fries (read: curly fries) are straight out of an Arby's, and the joint serves up wicked milkshakes with some truly bizarre combinations, like strawberry, green pepper and white chocolate. That's all in one shake.
They also have an impressive array of sauces that would make CalTor back in the DC area quite proud.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Johnna P.Sacramento, Vereinigte Staaten75798110. Apr. 2013
My husband and I chose to eat at Devil's Kitchen because it had a couple of vegetarian choices on the menu. Not that I'd ever consider eating a veggie burger when there's beef to be had... but I do have to allow my vegetarian husband a meal option now and then.
The restaurant is in the über-trendy hipster area of Dresden, Neustadt. There are some great restaurants in the area that focus more on food quality than trendiness, but DK isn't one of them.
The decor is pseudo-rockabilly and the menu is a German take on an American diner.
I had a BBQ-bacon cheeseburger, which was okay, but not much different that my usual fare at the pseudo-diner in Bonn... just more expensive. The BBQ sauce was good, the bun was a bit stale, and the beef was okay - but definitely not freshly made. At least the bacon was 'real' crispy fried bacon. Yum. And - I would HIGHLY recommend the sweet potato fries. They were simply divine!
Frankly, we won't choose DK again if/when we visit Dresden, but it was a decent choice in an interesting location.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Dan H.Canton, Vereinigte Staaten8371422. Sept. 2013
Horrible food. Horrible service.
The vegan options are the worst we've ever had! We got the sietan burgers and fries and the only thing we could stomach was the fries.
Try other vegan options in Dresden!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
