Top Atmosphäre, top Service, top Preise. Am liebsten trinke ich ein Newcastle Brown Ale und esse das Schnitzel Wiener Art. Die Glocke ist das ehrlichste Kneipenrestaurant in Hamburg!

At all a beer is not to be gotten so simply here. That of the bar belongs to the regular customers. But if one created it can one it really enjoy. There is a very good sausage salad and with the same and a good bear leaves itself then nice to talk Again and again gladly.

Basically, a dive bar, but the good kind. This place is so out-of-place that it's right on the money. In the middle of the most snob-filled part of town you have a traditional German restaurant/bar. This place is always packed and yes, they do allow smoking so if that ain't your thing, skip it. You can also sit outside when the weather allows. The menu is standard German fare but I love coming here when I have a craving for "honest" food. The service is always polite and the crowd a wonderful mix of locals from all backgrounds and ages. You'll have your Yuppie crowd sitting next to a bunch of regular whinos. Great stuff if you ask me. They have TV's and people do come to watch sports but a ton of people also come to just drink and play cards. If you haven't been here, I highly recommend checking it out if this is your kind of thing. If you're looking for posh or gourmet fare, skip it and go elsewhere.
