My cousin acted like this was the best Thai food on earth. I'm thinking she should visit San Francisco, because I've had much better food there. Like most restaurants in London nowadays, it was a bit on the desolate side. Fortunately, they are very friendly and courteous to local regulars, such as my cousin and her beau.

Decent portion sizes, but my entree was much more rice and very little chicken and vegetables. Mostly sauce. I don't have much to compare to with pricing, but $7 pounds seems very reasonable for a lunch/dinner.

It takes a while for the espresso machine to get going, but they served an excellent cappucino.

I'm a huge Thai fan, and Don Bois is consistently fantastic. One caveat: it's not very spicy, so if you need heat, ask for it.

I have no idea why it's almost always empty. I've been going for two years, and the pad thai is always yummy, the brown lamb curry sweet and scrumptious, the tom kha creamy, and the red curry with chicken chock-full of a variety of vegetables (for a change). Dessert isn't mind-blowing, though the soupy dumpling dessert is certainly colourful.

The service is phenomenal. The servers are respectful, quiet and seem to take their job very seriously. I find it a welcome respite to the norm. The back room is decorated well, and I especially like cozying up in a booth.

They also deliver locally and do takeaway, which I've found cures all cider-related ailments.

Insider tip: For every £10 you spend you get a stamp on a loyalty card. When it's full (maybe after £60) you get a free appetizer. Nothing gigantic, but it's a nice bonus.

We live right near this place, so I order in from there every month at least once. And the food is pretty good, and the portion sizes are pretty decent for the value.

I will say it's sort of an odd dining experience, because every single time I've been in there, it's been empty, or with one other group dining. It feels just so..quiet. The staff is extremely pleasant, though, and attentive without being all in your face.

The door handle on the inside of the front door looks like a sperm.

The two previous reviews have covered a lot of what I was going to say. We ate there on a Monday evening and we we're the only diners in sight, which I would normally take to be a bad omen. However, the food was very nice and my pork and veg in a ginger sauce had a really well balanced ginger kick to it. My girlfriends tofu in red curry was nice as well, but we both agreed it could've been a bit spicier.

In spite of the lack of other diners the staff neither ignored nor hovered over us. They were very helpful and friendly and when my girlfriend ordered a vegetarian red curry the waitress returned to the table a minute later and asked her if she would prefer tofu to the simple mixed vegetables.

For the price and quality service I think I'll be coming back.

A beautiful Thai restaurant that invested tons into a luxurious an colorful decor, along with outside calming fountains, statues, flowers and ambiance. Staff are meticulous, and even a little overly polite - worth every pence of service charge and more. Food is very good, a little slow, but it's made perfectly and freshly for each request. Would give 5 stars, but still think portions are a small for the price. But they have a wonderful 5.95 lunch deal and a 8.98 dinner deal Mon-Sun. Close walking distance from Parson's Green Tube Station as well as Putney Underground Tube. Bus 22 takes you directly to their door at Munster Bus stop. A perfect place to take a date, and for clean sticklers. Huge attention to detail. For their sake hope more people get to know this little hidden treasure exists.
