Electric Hairdressing

I had a terrible men's haircut there today in Oxford just two days before my sister's wedding and paid 48 pounds for it. I asked for the sides only to be cut with scissors numerous times and the first thing the hair dresser does is using a size 2 clipper on the sides! I look like a walking paint brush! Honestly! I could have got a clipper haircut like that anywhere for ten pounds and it would have looked much better! To other guys out there who care about your hair (I suppose you do if you are willing to pay 48 pounds for a hair cut) I strongly encourage you a AVOID this place! They can only use clippers and it looks terrible!

Needed my hair colouring / cutting for graduation last week. FANTASTIC experience. Wicked salon, felt like I was on a movie set with all the stage lighting! My highlights are the best they have ever been coloured in Oxford, I'm truly gutted I had not discovered them sooner. Thank you to such a lovely team, I do get nervous when trying out new salons but you guys made me feel so welcome and your knowledge very quickly put my mind at ease!

My first visit to Electric Hair was over a year ago when I bought a voucher offering a hair styling service at a reduced price. This was love at first sight! I used to go to Toni&Guy, but when I found this special deal, I thought I would give Electric Hair a trial.
I chose the Salon Director Louise Martinez and since then Louise has done my hair at least another 3 times and I am going to see her again next week to get ready for Christmas. Louise is such a positive, bright lady, very friendly, attentive, the whole Electric Team is just like her always helpful, smiley.
You sit comfortably with a glass of wine (they offer it for free!) and enjoy a chat with your stylist and after about 45 min you walk out of the salon with a huge smile across your face :)
I now pay the standard price which might seem a little high compare to some other salons, but actually the service you get is worth every penny. I think it fits into the average price range in Oxford with its famous but often overpriced salons.
Every time I go there, Louise remembers what she did to my hair last time and always pays attention to the feedback whether it was easy to style, if I wanted to change anything, etc. I guess this way you get no nasty surprises and can expect a brilliant haircut each time.
I have not tried the other stylists there, but surely they are worth trying, too.
