Element Wedding Films

The biggest mistake of my wedding planning was to hire them. PLEASE DO NOT hire them and take the bad reviews seriously! There is a reason why people write bad reviews, how else would I be spending all these time writing a bad review if they are truly that great??? If you want home video quality wedding film then go for it but you will be sorry anyways because you will be spending lots of time trying to get them to respond at all.

They did not take this job seriously and they failed to deliver what was expected of professional wedding videographers.

When I finally got one DVD in the mail 6.5 months after my wedding, it only contains the short film, which was already send to me 3 months after the wedding via email. When I asked Ryan about the extended film (on the contract the turnaround time is 6-8 weeks,) he first told me that they no longer offer it. SERIOUSLY?? I had to send him a copy of our contract and "remind" him what was in the contract!? IF you were professionals, this should never ever happen. How can you not know what's in the contract and what's not???? He then said, he will do it anyways since it's in the contract. It sounded like he was doing me a favor.......what?

okay, then finally he said that he will send out the DVDs 2/2/15 and I should have it by 2/4. GUESS WHAT? NO DVD showed up.

2/10, I send another text asking about my DVDs.
He said that he send them out 2/6 and will get me a tracking number. no tracking number was ever send to me.

okay, I took his words for it and waited. but guess what? 2/20 STILL NO DVD.
3/2 He randomly texted me asking if I've gotten the DVDs. I said NO. then no response?

3/10, I finally got the DVDs. Guess what? the stamps were printed on 3/4.

Shall we even go into the quality of the videos?? I know that all people have different views of what's good and what's not...but when you have ONLY the upper body of your bridesmaid in the whole entire frame while she's speaking for 5 minutes straight, I know that is NOT a good quality video. This goes the same for my wedding ceremony and all the speeches. I can probably make a better video than them honestly. Again, If you want home video quality or more stress in your life, go ahead and hire them. I would advise you otherwise run as fast as you can.

I am seriously considering filing a small court claim and get my money back!

After we had an outstanding video of our wedding from Element & Ryan, when it was time for my husband to come home from deployment I knew there was nobody else I'd want to film it but Ryan.

The video speaks for itself and just shows how much love is put into the work. I'm not sure of the negative reviews since I personally had a short film, extended film and all the misc footage given to me for my wedding and then on top of it to work with Ryan again exactly a year later for our deployment homecoming video, And his brother was also able to be apart of the magic!

Ryan, I am forever grateful for your kindness and talent. I have these videos forever and it's all thanks to you. I hope to one day work with you again in the future!

We recently hired element for our wedding. They were a huge mistake and I advise anyone to find someone else.

Ryan is a horrible videographer. If you want actual examples of what he made for us, please email me and I will be happy to show you. There are numerous reasons why you shouldn't, I will give you the worst parts. They missed our ENTIRE reception, our wedding dvd was shipped to us in a folded up cardboard (not even a cd case), and pretty much did little to no editing for the final product.

After our wedding, they took over 2 months to respond to us. Then my wife and I had to take steps to track them down, only to have them send us a final product we are too embarrassed to show our family. If any one has any questions about element and their quality of work, contact me please and Ill be happy to let you see what they did for us.

They don't answer any of our calls, they have not responded to us at all, and we are seriously thinking of pressing charges on them due to the numerous violations of our written contract.

I really advise anyone thinking of hiring them to just tape your wedding yourself, save yourself some money, and have a great time. They are a huge mistake and a joke.

I was so excited to purchase a Groupon deal for this videographer. Once I verified that Ryan had the my event date available, I purchased the voucher for discounted services.

Ryan was such a sweetheart before he knew I had the voucher, but once I informed him of it, he asked me to return it because he was not honoring them for his packages, only add-ons (which was not mentioned on his deal).

Most Importantly, he mentioned that we could work-out something outside of Groupon, so I was still optimistic. But then Ryan completely started ignoring me. Emails, calls, everything. Completely unprofessional.

If this is how he treats prospective clients, I do not want to know how he treats his clients when he has their money in his pockets.

Ryan was our videographer for our wedding on 3/30/13 :-) I haven't seen my extended edit yet, but from what I have seen (the highlight video), Ryan did an absolute fantastic job in editing our wedding footage.

On our wedding day, Ryan and his second videographer arrived on time to our hotel, and began filming. Throughout the course of the day, Ryan and his 2nd videographer filmed quietly and worked really well with the photographers we had hired. Our wedding ran a little late and Ryan made sure he stayed a little longer than he was scheduled to, just so he could capture all the essential footages.

I truly appreciate the work Ryan has done for me and my husband! If you are looking for a personable yet talented videographer, look no further and hire Ryan!!

I recently got married and knew during my wedding planning that I absolutely wanted a videographer. I think it's necessary to capture your special day, especially in film! I've already watched my highlight video over 10 times since I got the clip yesterday! =)

I searched high and low (trust me--i've seen probably over 100 other wedding clips) and found that Ryan's work was fantastic as well as reasonably priced. Weddings are expensive and I didn't have an extra 5K to spend on video alone (an actual quote I got from another wedding film company) but I knew I wanted top notch quality at a reasonable price. Then I found Element Wedding Film ...and was really impressed with the work. Like the reviewer below, take a look of his demos and you can see that the clips are shot well!

I absolutely think it's worth it and I was very happy with Ryan's highlight video. I can't stop watching my video and I've already shown it to my parents who said, "Wow...the video looks really good!" My husband agrees as well.

Don't skimp on videography...it's totally worth it and I highly recommend Ryan from Element Wedding Film for an awesome job well done. Ryan and his assistant were professional, punctual, and cordial throughout the process and never made us felt uncomfortable. Thank you Ryan!!! Now I'm gonna go watch my clip again. =)

Ryan completely melted my heart with our wedding film. Our film took a little longer than I expected, but it is prime time wedding season. However, it was completely worth the wait!

He captured so many amazing memories that I will forever cherish. Our wedding was such a dance party, and the end of the video really portrays that, which made me and my husband so happy! Thanks so much Ryan!

My husband and I chose them as videographers. They gave us a contract for 5 dvd with highlights, chapters and a raw footage of our wedding. We had to pay the full amount before getting the dvds. We received them in a month (good time), but all we got were the highlights, we tried calling and emailing them and they never responded to us. Ryan is a good person to work with but did not give us the full dvds. They saw this review and email us, instead of asking if they could fix the problem they threatened us.

We are hugely disappointed that you would go and write a one star review
after you have received your wedding video and raw footage. You didn't pay
for an extended film. Its amazing that for claiming to be a christian
couple you would go ahead and lie about a review. We have been nothing but
responsive to your calls and emails, so what do you mean "called several
times without response."

Even though we are not a big corporation, we do have a lot of insurance
and an attorney on payroll, so we wont hesitate to take legal action
against any defamation attempt.

I will advice you to please take down/ or replace the review you posted to
reflect the kind compassion our staff showed you on your wedding day.

What an awesome videographer!!!! Where do I start? As I watched the final video my daughter text me with, I was in tears not only because it was my baby girl getting married, but Ryan captured this once in a lifetime event with the most professional and heartfelt touch. I applaud you Ryan and I am forever going to be grateful to you that I will be able to see the beauty of my amazing son-in-law before he is off to fight for our country and my beautiful babygirl with her inner and outside beauty. Ryan, you have a wonderful talent. If anyone questions your purpose, they may have some personal inner issues. You captured an event that all of my family and friends have said you did an amazing job and they all cried (even men got teary eyed).
