If ya need a touch of Ireland in the middle of Düsseldorf look no further. Amazing friendly staff. Good crowd of like minded people. I didn't eat so can't comment on food but everything I seen go by me looked good. Definitely enjoyed myself. Cheers!

Very nice Irish Bar environment with really great food. I ate the fish and chips and was not disappointed, very tasty. The homemade tarter sauce was also very good, not to mention the very good Hoppy 13 beer.

Well, where ever there are Irish there are Irish pubs, and that must mean that Dusseldorf has its fair share or Irish because I counted at least six pubs within a short walk from each other. Anyway, this was the first I visited and the welcome that I received was so warm that I came back three more times (though I have to admit that the later experiences where anywhere near as good as the first - I guess it is the law of diminishing returns, and the bar staff didn't seem all that interested in a friendly chat). Still, considering that there are six other pubs, this once certainly did stick out from the crowd, even if only for the first impression I received.

So this is my "go to" Irish bar when I'm in town. I usually stay at the hotel next door. There are good places to eat right around it, the beer is good and cold, the people are warm and friendly, but not in a kissass kind of way.
Don't miss the live music when they have it. Always in the back of the bar, but really a great set of musicians!
They have darts too if you like to play. And they are open good and late for a last pint before you go home.
I start my altstadt crawl here, and usually end it here as well.
A beer will run you 5€ for a solid pint. Not cheap, not expensive I call it a good price.
No food but big deal there's pizza, burgers, bad Chinese, bratwursts, and kiosks within 50m of the place.
Will definitely be back next year!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Scott R.Jupiter, Vereinigte Staaten6216062028. Nov. 2013
I make the pilgrimage out to Düsseldorf every year and have spent many hours in this fine establishment. They have the best German brews on tap. The bartenders and servers are very friendly. I believe the bar is owned by ex-pat because the bartenders are very knowledgeable of American football and of course speak great English which is great for a guy that speaks very little Deutsch.

Lovely staff. Made me feel like part of the family. Great scene here, good selection of beers and spirits.
Coincidentally, it's right next door to another pub... Which is far lesser, in my opinion. The neighboring pub feels like a facade - no Irish bartenders either! I feel like every Irish pub needs a surly Irish pub keep! This one had one of those... And the authentic feeling atmosphere to boot.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
