Fellas

We had such a nice evening at Fellas! After having been turned away at several restaurants for not having a reservation, it was nice to walk in and be greeted warmly by the server.

The food was excellent. We started with the cheese schnitzel (fabulous!), and then moved on to the beef goulash (outstanding!). My daughter had the chicken dish, and said it was the best fried chicken she has ever eaten.

Very warm, inviting atmosphere. We were relaxed and cozy, and so grateful to be tucked away with a wonderful meal.

We ended up here on a quiet and rainy night after being turned away by another restaurant nearby. The host/server/bartender was very welcoming and attentive and recommended a good place for us to sit that was dry but still near the open patio. I had a delicious Forelle with grilled veggies and my companion enjoyed a Schnitzel. We ordered a bottle of wine and some Schnapps and enjoyed the cool and wet weather from our cozy corner. Glad we stumbled upon this place.

I ordered a Schnitzel for lunch and was a bit disappointed with its average taste, considering its price of EUR14,90. Also it was very thin. I prefer thicker Schnitzel and tastier meat.
On the other hand, the portion was huge, so definitely something where you need a good appetite.
The service is good.

Ever since the owner changed in 2010, prices increased and quality of food and beverages decreased dramatically. I am not even getting into service which is slow and moody quite often.


Makes me sad! This place used to rock big and was top on my map when people visited from out of town.

Great, cheap-ish Schnitzel. Don't miss it!

I live upstairs from this place so I may be bias, but the food is quality and always made consistently. I am a foodie, so I have to mention the homemade spetzel.

Fellas is hard to beat in this area. I've lived next door for a couple of years and went often for a snack (like the burger or the brilliant 'Schnitzel'). I've also taken clients & friends alike for upscale dinners, as the kitchen is offering an incredible bandwidth of carefully selected dishes that change once a week. The space is extremely cosy, staff mostly very friendly and the owner a passionate food guy. If you want to go for a simple dinner with excellent wine or a lush date with all extras, in my HO you will struggle to find better in this area. Strongly recommended.
