Flughafen Weeze

Actually, I liked Weeze Airport when we landed here in December. It was chaos because of the snow at all the other airports around but not here so much. There were several delays but that was all. To get to the nearest train station you have to take a bus to Düsseldorf. The price for that is 14 EUR. It takes you an hour and a half. The airport is nice and small, has a few shops. We had an apple drink (Schorle) when we landed. The toilets were clean. The people behind the info desks were very friendly. Good parking possibilities, too. Weeze was a military airport once. It is very close to the Netherlands, to the Dutch border. I would always go from here again.


Remember: Weeze is not Düsseldorf!
