Flying Sticks

-1 Star because they consistently get our order wrong
-1 Star because we found a cricket in one of our salads once
-1 Star because dude needs to stop calling his female customers "honey." It's like nails on a freaking chalkboard.

I literally just ate here 15 minutes prior, so everything is fresh in my mind. I ordered their tsaziki and pita, gyro and steak baguette. I thought everything was OK. The steak was perfectly cooked but the gyro was sliced in thick.. almost cubes. Too salty per bite. I like it when it's sliced thinly and the flavor is spread out evenly and nicely.

Generally speaking, it was decent, but this isn't something I would crave in the future. Maybe I'll try something else on their menu to see if I can boost up their ratings (I heard their falafels are pretty good).

I always order the shawarma plate from here, it comes with a good size serving of chicken, hummus, pita, rice and yummy Greek salad. It's definitely hard to find healthy in downtown, but this spot nails it. Only complaint is that there delivery takes too long, so I recommend ordering in advance.

Stopped by the international food court while we were shopping in the fashion district. I was craving rice and gyros so i got the gyro and chicken shawarma plate while my sister got the chicken shawarma baguette.

The chicken shawarma was super duper dry and tasted like it had been sitting out for a really long time. The hummus also had a funky flavor that I didn't like and was a really strange consistency (you can see it in the picture I uploaded). My dad liked it though. Despite all that the gyro was yummy and perfectly seasoned. I loved loved loved the salad and whatever sort of dressing they used was so good I was dipping my pita in it. The saffron rice that they used was different than I normally get from mediterranean places. I don't think they used the typical basmati? rice that everyone else uses and used a shorter grain, stickier rice. I really liked the texture but definitely not what I was expecting.
My sisters chicken shawarma baguette was a little better than the dry pieces of chicken on my plate but it just seemed to be missing some sort of sauce (maybe tzatziki or garlic sauce) She didn't have many complaints though.

All in all I was able to get full off of my plate for a decent price so I wasn't upset. Not sure if I would be back though. Especially since there are mediterranean places with better reviews within walking distance (they were just all closed the day I went because it was christmas eve).

I will go out of my way for this amazingness!!! Everything was incredible!!! The service was wonderful, I was greeted with warmth and smiles. I'm all about that! The gyro took me back to my trip to the Mediterranean. A.MAZ.ING. There are plentyyyy of places just like it in DTLA, but for a food court, you get a sit-down restaurant quality. Great prices, you definitely can't go wrong!

They have plenty of vegetarian and drink choices, too!!! Yay!!!!

I love and miss this spot so muchhhhh! Whenever I go to the alleys I come here. Used to order at least 1x a week when I worked in the Cooper building! They deliver and are also on GrubHub.

Their gyro baguette is huge (I usually shared) and got a 4 piece falafel (shared that too hehe) ~ perfect lunch! They have this amazing garlicky sauce and spicy green sauce too that I suggest you try.

Pros: no line and he let me have a sample of the baba ganoush.

CONS:
1. higher prices than their competitor: downtown kabob.
2. Not much of a selection.
3. Chicken shwarma is dry!

Rant: There was no line; this should have been a sign, however, the parking lot attendant recommended this food court at this location over their competitor.
Chicken shwarna was dry and I even asked for moist, juicy pieces. Typically I would order kebab, but it looked kind of dry and they seemed to specialize in shawarma. Even the f****** bakkava was gross. It was şoggy and not crispy.

I'm glad I ordered the small plate thank God! I am grateful for the food & that I have the choice to select my choice of food. So I did not complain I just consumed it and threw out the dry parts. I remember this YouTube video I saw of two little for kids in Syria picking in the sand looking for some little pieces of bread to eat. We are to be grateful for what we have before us even if it tastes like paper. Thank-You for reading.

The food here is delicious. Today we have a really good lunch and the prices are also great. The chicken salads is so fresh, I can eat it every day.

Food was delicious! Will definitely be returning chicken was nice and clean the hummus was perfect. Great staff :)
