I recently purchased a new Auto Policy at the Geico Waterford office and saved a considerable amount of money. My agent was and Abby is absolutely Amazing. She's very pleasant, extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions quickly. It was a pleasure to get great service and have a hassle free experience. I would highly recommend Abby at the Geico, Waterford office.

Walked in today and the receptionist was very nice(,I deal with Abby,but she was out.)
I was reffered to Vern an african-american who was very rude and made wise comments,I walked in at 10 am and this guy had Solitaire on his computer screen.After I told him about what we needed to be done he was like ,ok the insurance need to be paid in escrow for was like 700 for 6 months for auto.
Needles it looked like he didnt want customers to give him money today.or didnt want deal with costumers at all.
Not nice at all.
Went to Amy next cubicle,but WE were already upset,and she explained that pricing was based on info given and she pulled over 700$.
Never had this kind of costumer service.
Back in december I dealt with Abby who was exellent and called me 4 times to make sure everything went smooth.

Mr. Diell, I looked over the policy in question. I reviewed the situation and my employees did everything correctly. The policy you were trying to reinstate had been canceled for non-payment. GEICO's rules were followed to the letter.
We have to give customers bad news sometimes. Its not uncommon for people to be upset that their insurance pricing went up because of a lapse in insurance coverage or claims history. I was happy to learn that Amy, my office manager with 10 years of GEICO experience was also involved.

Walked in one day and was taken care of by Vern. Honest and professional. Exceeded my expectations and continues to this day. Just renewed last week actually. This is why i love and promote Geico.

We walked into the office today to get a Homeowners quote and were told by the secretary that they do not insures homes within 1/2 mile of the water. Our house is in Quaker Hill (miles from the ocean), but within a 1/2 mile of the river so she said they don't insure. Apparently they are mostly an auto insurance company - so I wouldn't bother going there if you are looking for a homeowners quote and you are near water.

I'm sorry your home didn't qualify at the time (our guidelines have changed since then). Coastal guidleines are very difficult to navigate thru in CT. Every homeowners insurance company in New England has stringent guidelines along the coast. (Yes, the Thames River is tidal water and therefore subject to the tighter hurricane/windstorm/flood guidelines). GEICO sells hundreds and hundreds of homeowner policies thru our local Waterford office every year.
