I have walked past this place so many times but have not bothered to try. So today, sun was out and as most Germans specifically, Münchener's do on a sunny day, eat ice cream like it's going out of style, and I followed suit ;-)) This place just happened to be nearby and I stepped in to give it a whirl ;-))
They have a variety of flavours and the eis is well hidden in stainless steel cylinders and they use metal spatulas to serve the eis unlike most places in Munich where scoops are used. This is more in line with many good gelato shops across Italy.
All the eis here is made from organic ingredients and there are signs on the wall with ingredients list of every flavour. They had some interesting flavours like NY Cheesecake, Salted Caramel, Rum Caramel, green tea and so on.
I had two varieties Mascarpone Fig and Salted Caramel. I loved the fig eis very much and the salted caramel was also quite ok. It was creamy and flavourful. I must admit whilst I enjoyed it, I prefer my corner shop called Trampolin that also serves organic eis.
If I am in the area I will definitely drop in. If nothing else I will come back for some green tea eis to take home ;-)) a nice eis shop in Schwabing.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Robert S.München, Bayern127. Mai 2017
We went to the Indian first and took our dessert at Bartu. OMG the New York Cheesecake is out of this world. If you lactose intolerant they also have quiet a few sorbet flavours. I wish I would have discover this place earlier.
For people with a savoury taste they also serve Pizza to go.
Both thumbs up!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kels E.Vancouver, Kanada2127108. Mai 2016
The ice cream is very clean tasting. Some of the flavours lack flavour (ironically), but I don't mind because they aren't overally sweet and the ingredients are of high quality. They also have organic Pizzas too! I recommend pistachio, matcha, mango lassi and coconut.

I ordered two scoops of ice cream pistachios and new york cheesecake.Paying then 3,40€ for the two scoops is even pricey for munich but it was absolutely delicious. It tastes soooo good. I can't wait to go there again

Organic ice cream that's delicious! The tin containers and method of "fluffing" the ice cream before serving reminds me completely of Grom in Florence.
The ice cream was delicious! I would have liked a few more Italian flavors but there is certainly a great selection of fruit or milk based to choose from.
The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars from me is the steep price of 1,60€ a scope, yikes. Although I'd be fibbing if I said I won't be back.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Julie G.Edinburgh, Vereinigtes Königreich6615519610. Sept. 2012
I'm surprised this place (one of my favorite gelaterias in Munich) hasn't been reviewed yet. Salted caramel is my favorite flavor here; cinnamon also ranks high. Only disappointment so far was the chocolate - not dark enough for my tastes.
