General Post Office

Awesomeness plus. The facts is that the bartender is the best in the city!!! and not to forget, they have Augustiner beer!

After several visits to the General Post Office, I've found it to be comfortable and relaxed. During the warmer seasons, it is lovely to sit outside and enjoy a pint of your favorite beer. Inside, you will find it a great place to meet with friends when the weather turns cold.

The burgers are decent and I am fond of their Clubsandwich de Luxe. Prices for both food and beverage are quite reasonable, especially for the area.

Please note, this is an Irish pub in Berlin and not really a kneipe, so smoking inside is not allowed.

My only complaint? As it is the General Post Office, I cannot purchase 'stamps' or 'briemarken' at the bar ;-)~

But I can get great beer! :-)

Nice athmosphere and big variety of beers.
The Nachos are awesome and also good prices.

They had cheap drinks, a plus. Kind of nice outside for sitting and having some drinks. Won't go back though. The night we went our waitress (older, not a kid or anything) spent half of the time making out with her boyfriend at the table next to us. Like seriously making out, him grabbing her butt. It was disgusting, and prevented us from ordering drinks. I can get the same alcohol at any of a dozen bars in the area, and I will going forward.

Cozy place. Good atmosphere. Food menu is rather poor. Service is rather average. They are super nice but rather slow. Generally an ok place for a relaxed evening.
