Whenever I go to a mall, I am always eager to find a Godiva...free chocolate, anyone?!
Service: mediocre. The girl that was helping me seemed like she needed a chocolate boost to make it through the day....
I came here with one item in mind: their soft serve ice cream! And lucky me...it was BOGOF day!
Pro tip 1: you can sample it before purchasing!
Sadly, the ice cream here was really watery this day. The chocolate tasted like watered down milk chocolate, and quality was just as bad as Souplantation. (Please tell me this is a fluke?!)
Anyhow, I still ended up getting one because I felt like the girl was glaring at me....I even added a waffle cone (luckily this did not disappoint).

It's unfortunate that a lot of businesses are closing. Godiva is one of those stores and are permanently closing all off their North American locations. Consumers will still be able to order online but it's very limited. Everything in the store was pretty much gone. I only ordered one thing and that's my usual hot chocolate. The chocolate was so rich! I'm definitely going to miss this place!

I don't know what was better the soft serve or the person who was serving the soft serve.
It was a well kept store with lots of options and a vast variety of different chocolates.
I loved the soft serve flavor, it's so thick and decadent. I can't wait to come back and get a cone to myself.

We stopped in for coffee and ice cream while shopping. Female employee was sticking shelf and did not acknowledge us (3 women).
I asked about hot coffee and was told they do not serve hot and she continued stocking. My friend wanted something else, but after being ignored we left the store.

Honestly, were it not for the free $10 to spend in my birthday month for being a rewards member, I wouldn't have gone. Most of the items on the Godiva menu don't taste like cocoa at all! The chocolate truffles seem to lack any chocolate flavor; you can only taste the truffle flavoring, like the fruit or marzipan, on the finish. The hot chocolate was both bitter and sweet but had no cocoa flavor either, and the chocolate Oreos really only tasted like Oreos. The chocolate strawberries are very large but also overpriced.
Also, while one server was very warm and even had us sample a trufflata beverage (which was quite good), the other seemed peeved that we were getting most of our order free, and treated us so poorly that it has turned me off from wanting to return.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 9. Juli 2018
Your regular Godiva branch so if you've been, you know what to expect. Service is ok and quality is good. Prices are high but what do you expect from a chocolatier? If you've never been, I'd recommend the strawberries with melted chocolate.

Fernando at the counter was awful. Glared at me when I approached him and did not acknowledge or greet me. Very rude and useless. Does he think he works at teuscher or something? Lol. Give up the pretense dude.

We spent quite a bit of money on chocolates and chocolate covered strawberries for our workplace through the spring last year. All the orders were filled perfectly and at the time I received friendly and helpful service. My issue is that during the spring when we placed all these orders we earned two bronze, two silver and two gold reward cards for our purchases. Each of the cards indicated that I had earned "a FREE gift!"
The cards indicated I would receive a complimentary gift valued up to $10, $20 or $30 respectively. So in total for the 6 cards I had I was looking at about roughly $120 in gifts, no big deal for a company like Godiva one would think. Now, nowhere on these cards did it indicate "Spring" or Limited Time" promotion nor was there and experation dates on the cards. It did have some legal fine print i.e. while supplies last, for full terms & conditions visit the website, exclusions apply,
That was the extent of it. When I returned to use the cards several months later ( I had always intended to hold onto the card to cash them in for a few handy Christmas gift to have around for those unexpected occasions) I was told no, despite the fact that you did in fact earn those cards from us you cannot cash them in because that was a Spring promotion. I countered with "how am I supposed to know that, there was nothing printed on the card about a timeline for the promotion?" The answer I received was, "well, we were telling everybody when we gave them the cards" Really? Because I don't recall hearing a thing about that, especially when I was collecting having the full intention of holding onto them. If they had told me use them or lose them, I could have cashed them in back then and just held onto the gifts which I believe were cooler bags and the like. Leaving the store with no resolution I called Godiva customer service, who never called me back. So the bottom line is if you earn something from their "rewards" program - you'd better cash it in pronto. As for me I think I will spend my money elsewhere as it seems they didn't make any effort to recognize a many times over repeat customer.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
