Q:
Do you have to be 21 to see the drag show?
A:
No. In fact they have a brunch show for the family. This is a restaurant and any age can go. For the complete drag performance you might have to be over 18

It was our 1st time at a Hamburger Marys and it did NOT disappoint. The service, food, and drinks were great, along with the entertainment! We were on Spring Break trip for our son, and going here was 1 of his requests. We had reservations for Sunday Brunch and were seated right away along the main aisle. So entertaining!

Entertainment, stellar. Service, meh. Food, surprisingly ok.
I came to HM for a birthday celebration. 6 of us in the party. We had reservations, but the line to get in was quite long. 1:45p booking and we didn't get seated until 2:30p. A bit annoying. We eventually were seated and it's pretty chaotic. No one tells you that you have to scan a QR code to look at the menu, and by the time you figure it out, the waiter sort of rushes you to order because the show is about to start. Good selection of food. Burgers obviously. When I looked around people's food seemed decent. I didn't come to HM thinking I'd have the best meal. I set the bar low. I ordered the veggie "chicken" and what was brought out was a vegan burger (like a beyond burger). I told them I didn't order that but I was basically pressured to keep what was brought out to me because it would take too long to make something new. Anyway, the burger wasn't half bad. I was expecting a dry tasteless thing but it was quite good (well at least better than expected).
The drag queens were quite fun, sometimes hard to see where I was sitting. The layout of the restaurant could be better. Overall it was a decent experience, not sure I'd be back soon though (it's a pricey meal)Helpful 2Thanks 2Love this 1Oh no 2 - Morgan B.West Los Angeles, Los Angeles, Vereinigte Staaten54045925. I want to say right off the bat that the performers at this location are absolutely *fantastic* -- always a great time, and the entire joint feels like a party whenever any of the performers are on stage (or making their way around the audience). Huge kudos to all of the performers here.
The three-star rating refers specifically to three key issues: 1) absurdly high prices, 2) medium-level food quality (certainly not appropriate for the prices), and 3) the generally confusing reservation process. There also isn't a ton of transparency about the prices and none available on their website. Of course, this is Los Angeles. Food and drinks are destined to be a bit expensive. That said, I've found consistent quality issues (especially under seasoning on pretty much every item), I do expect better quality. Service is also very touch-and-go (perhaps more of an issue with process and understaffing than anything).
Hamburger Mary's is a classic, and I do recommend that everyone hits this spot up once. That said, there are drag brunches with much better food and service all over Los Angeles. I want so badly to love this place, but I've only been back once for all of these reasons.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Matt R.Central LA, Los Angeles, Vereinigte Staaten237152. Mediocre drag, below mediocre food and over-priced.
Somehow spent $40 for bottomless orange juice and a souvenir cup I'll never reuse again.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 2 - 21. Apr. 2024Seated via Yelp Reservations
Had a great time at Hamburger Mary's! The staff were friendly and the drinks were tasty. The bar manager was lovely and the drag show host was very funny! Biggest drawback is the pricing, this place is not cheap. The menu doesn't have prices on the drinks and it is for good reason haha. The original price of the drink I got was $20, but I made it a double which brought it up to $24. The interior was bright, fruity, and the exact amount of tacky you'd expect from a WeHo bar.

My legendary return to the infamous Hamburger Mary's of West Hollywood for none other than Legendary Bingo.
Residing on the corner of Sweetzer Avenue / Santa Monica Boulevard near Pura Vita and West Hollywood Public Works since 2005.
We came out to support our friend Doug Milliken, a local Los Angeles titleholder (Mr. Regiment 2024), podcast host (Leather 101), Aids Lifecycle advocate + rider (ALC Sweep Team) and overall amazing guy that both my guy and I care for fondly. Legendary Bingo is a drag queen bingo extravaganza eleganza - every Tuesday and Wednesday at 7PM that partners with charities to raise money.
A $20 donation secures your spot and gets you a full stack of sheets for bingo with a dobber as well as access to the possibility of some truly legendary prizes.
Doug, team Legendary Bingo and Hamburger Mary's put together a fun filled night of Drag Bingo I'll never forget for the Regiment Fund at Tom House of the Tom of Finland Foundation. It was a full house, with maybe a partial table of room in the entire bar restaurant (with the exception of their outdoor patio, but nobody is playing bingo from outside lol).
Hosted by the handsome Bingo Boy (@dragqueenbingo) and special guest the alluring Allusia (@allusiatogo)...Getting there early was perfect as the line was out the door at certain points. The take donations to the right and your reservations on the left.
The restaurants host while guide you to a table or booth area with plenty of room for your party. Unless you nab a big curved booth in back it's cafeteria style seating with huge long tables, a series of connected tables or slightly spaced out for parties of two to four.
It was recommend, especially for Legendary Bingo to book a reservation in advance and I made a reservation originally for 4 earlier in the month that I eventually was able to edit for additional friends who joined us. A entertaining table of six! We didn't win at our table, but a few friends did near us, including my friend Mike and our pal David. It was so cool to enjoy a night out with babe and company.
We all had food and drinks, but to limit massive amounts of tabs and bills they do lump you up, even if paying individual. The boyfriend and I were on our own check thankful, but our friends had a bill situationship amongst the four of them O.O and those cocktails add up!
Their Beyond Burger (Mary Style), hold the thousand island for me, unexpected though super welcomed extra pickles and with vegan cheese was okay... As were the sweet potato fries. I love that they have even more options than my first trip here back in the late 2000s (in the days of boca and black bean). Including Smoothies (with non-dairy choices), "Appeteasers," Burgers (naturally), Desserts, Salads, Breakfast/Brunch and more!
It's definitely a place you go to more for fun and the experience rather than flavors and specials. I had two margaritas (one house and one Ultimate Total Top that ended up being the same price)... The fun cocktail names are apart of the fun as well! As are the huge goblets they bring them out in. Even my bae's Mango Cart came in one.
It's more than some places deal wise, but also Hamburger Mary's offers more than most places... They serve up an experience and excellent service.
We had servers who took care of entire parties or tables throughout the night. Everything kept flowing and seemed to come out at some of the best times.
Some of us stayed a little later for Maryoke... Get it? With Miz Jenny Tonic and her awesome KJ (Karaoke Jockey). It was fun, but definitely more mellow after bingo.
There are so many Hamburger Mary's location (including the original in San Francisco), but WeHo forever holds memories and a top rank.
Boyfriend's Note:
The best parking is west of Sweetzer, especially off of Kings Rd and beyond. There's a garage as well as metered parking, plus more options up Santa Monica Blvd.Helpful 8Thanks 1Love this 7Oh no 1 - 341725327. Feb. 2024
I experienced my first drag brunch at this location! It was such a fun place to celebrate my friends bachelorette weekend. We made a reservation but when we arrived it seemed to be first come first served for seating. Fortunately we were able to get seated in the front and had the best view. I ordered a basic American style burger but I didn't like the patty. The toppings on the burger were great but the meat had a stinky taste to it.
If you like the "dinner and a show" vibes then you will love it here. Many folks get bottomless mimosas and the souvenir cups look super fun. I would come here again for a celebration.
Parking is tough! Get there early so you can find street parking. You might get lucky and find parking without a meter.Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 2Oh no 2 - 641168615. Jan. 2024
Fun fun fun is all I can say
I came here and wasn't sure what to expect but it exceeded expectations!
I did the unlimited mimosas and they give them to you in a pink high heel with a crown that you get to keep . Drinks start about 30 minutes before the show .
Once the show starts it's a big party they play great music and the entertainment is great .
Food is pretty good I suggest sticking to the burgers though .
Seating is open seating so get there early to get the table you prefer . Bring your single dollars to tip the entertainment and sit back and enjoy yourself . Great place to go for a bachelorette or bachelor party ! Or celebrate your birthday they have a delicious birthday cake that's given to you with sparklers . It's a rainbow cake with whip cream frosting that tastes delicious ! I can't wait to go back for some fun with friends . Reservations are required .Helpful 1Thanks 2Love this 0Oh no 0 - 22. Nov. 2023
"I am what I am, And what I am needs no excuses, I deal my own deck sometimes the ace, sometimes the deuces..." Yeah, that's what goes through my head when I think of this place. I LOVE IT!
Forget that the burgers are fantabulous, and the drinks are ginormous...it's the welcoming, upbeat atmosphere & the feeling like you belong that gets ya, all whilst the MC is calling you out or shaming you (all in FUN of course). The music makes ya wanna dance...I did and enjoyed watching several others doing the same.
This evening was like any other, filled with fun, laughter, various celebrations and amazing performances! Each performer had their own vibe and style which made it exciting to watch..."what would they be wearing next?" And "what will they perform?"
They all moved around the restaurant singing & dancing as we waved our "dollar bills!" What a great time!!!!! A MUST if you have never been here before or are visiting from out of town.
Our server, Mykie, was great. She had a lot of tables but managed to keep us on her radar the entire night. The rest of the staff helped her along. Everyone was professional and very sweet.
*Parking can sometimes get tricky depending on what night you come here.
*Arrive early to find parking. There is metered parking, a few lots in the area and side streets that may require permits.
*Please read all signs thoroughly to avoid towing or a ticket. (This is a good time so don't spoil your mood by getting a ticket)
*Bring plenty of $1 bills - you will need them! These performers are great!!!!

High energy!
Lots of love here! Good vibes and a fun atmosphere!
I would make a reservation because it gets busy for the drag shows! I booked the 3pm showing of the drag brunch! And I'm glad I did, we showed up early and waited outside at a table.
The show was great! The ladies are fabulous!! Make sure you bring your one dollar bills!
I loved the stand up comedy- so funny!
The food is just okay. But let's be real; no one's coming here for the food lol But the fried foods seemed to be better (mozzarella sticks, fried Mac and cheese balls, fried chicken).Helpful 11Thanks 3Love this 7Oh no 0
