Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Laval

I'm in laval often and a Hilton Diamond so I'm always looking for a Hilton chain.

This is my first time back to the Hampton inn for about a year and it's still great.

The location is close to shopping and there are plenty of restaurant choices within walking distance. The hotel staff is super friendly and very helpful.

As do all Hampton Inn hotels. This one has green breakfast and a nice open feeling breakfast area. They have a pool and a gym which are on par with other locations too.

The rooms are clean and the only exception I saw to everything not being updated was my tub. It looked a bit aged but heck, it's a tub. It wasn't moldy but show chips and repair work from the years of age.

Other than that, the pricing here is always competitive, beds are comfy and rooms are quiet.

I've been to many hotels, but the food here is the best I've had. The food staff know what they're doing and need to be recognized. I actually extended my stay based on the food alone. The staff is all so friendly and helpful. I'm always greeted in the morning with a friendly smile. I am really going to miss this hotel. I'd actually consider coming back to Laval just so I can stay at this location and eat the food again. I also love that there's always coffee in the lobby.

Professional front desk. Very clean. The area around the hotel is somewhat distressed. Hotel itself is squeaky clean. Good options on TV. Breakfast was hot with many choices. Good value for the money. I would stay here again!

First time here. Decent hotel. Not sure why the room didn't have a fridge especially as big as the room was. The two days in a row that I used the fitness center there were no towels. The first day I had to ask someone at the front desk for towels. You figure that they would make sure that didn't happen again. Nope. The next day the same thing so I bothered not even asking.

Nice, clean, safe and super friendly staff. And free parking.

The only possible negatives were not of any concern to us - about a 20 min drive to city center, and the breakfast is pretty basic.

Our room had a wonky toilet that needed professional plumbing attention. Instead of fixing it, we were handed a plunger. This is not my usual experience in Hilton family hotels.

The staff at this hotel was super friendly! The room was really clean and the free breakfast was delicious. Also, there was a pharmacy, grocery store and Tim Hortons down the street!
