The BEST Bloody Mary we've ever had!!! This location VERY close tothe Market and cozy vibe. The Sunday roast selections are quite nice. We opted for the rump roast selection and everything on that plate was soul satisfying! Service was spot on, gracious pleasant and helpful. Can't wait for this to open in Chicago!!

This was probably the best steak house lunch I had in awhile. The original location is still standing strong. We had reservations for noon and glad we did. Placed filled up quickly. Ordered 2 set lunch special steak frites. Steak frites were dry-aged rump, beef dripping fries, bone marrow & onions, watercress. Opted for Yorkshire pudding starter which was excellent. Steaks were excellent as well.

Hawksmoor are reliable, have great service and food and are generally really friendly welcoming places.
I do think the dining room here can be a touch on the noisy side, but I wouldn't call it a "quiet date night" spot anywayHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 3621729319813. Mai 2022
Amazing steak, friendly and knowledgeable staff and awesome food overall.
My friend and I shared a steak, the bone marrow, and the asparagus and Mac & cheese sides. It was a little too much food for us and we didn't have room for dessert.
Reservations were pretty easy to get too. Recommended!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Michelle S.Los Angeles, Vereinigte Staaten453259114. Juni 2022
One of the best Sunday Roasts ever!
We literally just randomly picked coming here and it was one of the best places! Our server was so nice and helpful and even comped us a sticky toffee pudding because we needed to try the traditional dessert! Seriously the best desserts we had in London!
Definitely will be a go to when in London, I want to eat more of their menu! Their meat selection looked incredible!
Going to have to check the one in NYC soon!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 19. Apr. 2020
I can't say enough about how damn good our Sunday roast was. We had the perfect bottle of French red to go with our tender cooked beef and all the fixings including yorkshire pudding and roasted veg. The mac and cheese was a decadent addition, but who's worrying on a Sunday. And to top it off, we had a sticky toffee pudding which honestly was one of the most sinful desserts ever and worth every damn morsel. I can't wait to come back when I visit London again. This is what makes Sunday roasts famous here.

My wife and I had a wonderful relaxed meal at Hawksmoor Spitalfields. I reserved here because I wanted to try Yorkshire pudding for the first time in my life. I was expecting some sort of heavy doughy dumpling kind of thing but it turned out to be light and flaky! Add unique potted meat under an airtight butter seal and delicious gravy and Yorkshire pudding turned out to be truly delicious!
However, while the food was excellent, the service was truly the difference maker.
We arrived early and sat at the bar on the main floor for a while. Johnny the bearded bartender from Spain, provided excellent service and drinks. He was friendly and enthusiastic and his delicious libations truly got us going in the right direction for a wonderful evening. The drink with strawberry infused gin was definitely outstanding. My wife actually enjoyed a gin-based drink and she's never been a fan of the gin until now, perhaps only at Hawksmoor in London!
For history buffs who have perhaps read this far, I decided to learn more about the origin of the Hawksmoor name. As you might expect in London, a rich history awaited discovery!
In 1711, parliament passed a law to build fifty new churches in London and Westminister. I believe the idea was to encourage the population to get more involved with organized religion. While only twelve churches were ultimately built, Hawksmoor designed six of them and contributed to the design of two others! The six churches designed by Hawksmoor were St Alfege's, St George's, Christ Church, St George in the East, St Mary Woolnoth and St Anne's Limehouse. Perhaps we'll visit them all on our next trip!Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - 16. Okt. 2019
Great steak (the waiter asked me how the steak was and I said "good". He said, "Just good?")
Got the 400g ribeye paired with the bone marrow gravy with a side of the triple dipped chips and sourdough bread with butter
Ribeye was medium rare and cooked perfectly. Quite magical really, the bone marrow gravy was mouth wateringly good.
Chips were crispy, dipped into the gravy for extra points
Sourdough came cold and sad but they toasted it for me and it was much better.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ryan C.Anaheim, Vereinigte Staaten246152. Mai 2022

Hawksmoor is a classic, lively steakhouse with convenient locations throughout London. We visited the Spitalfields branch during our August trip and it has a quiet kind of swagger.
The cocktail list is super in-depth, with lots of commentary. I had some kind of gin drink and my boyfriend a whiskey drink; both were good, though at a high cost.
To start, we had bone marrow with caramelized onions (8 pounds), which was a great pairing and a huge portion for the price. Definitely get this if you're a bone marrow fan.
We split a nice-sized chateaubriand (13 pounds per 100g, portions starting around 300g) with peppercorn sauce on the side. So good... perfectly cooked to medium rare. Great juicy texture and meaty flavor, with a mild sear. The side of mushrooms was probably good for our health, but skippable.
Overall, this is reliable luxury food at reasonable prices. Service was fine; there were many bathrooms. It wasn't overly busy on a Monday but I would recommend booking ahead for the weekend.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0
