As soon as you walk into the hotel, the smoke smell hits you. Yes it's part of a casino, but I still don't like it! No free room Wi-Fi unless you have their Hilton Honors. Be careful as you take a shower, as the temperature fluctuates to HOT very quickly. The beds are very comfortable and the service is nice. We had a nice view of the town below and the Alps in the background. The location of the hotel is perfectly located to the quant little town of Innsbrook.

Flew into Innsbruck and spent the night before taking the train down to Alps to the Corsica Ferry.
Great service, value, and location for my expedition.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Daniel A.Berlin12229825522. Feb. 2015
This place is odd, it doesn't feel anything like a Hilton hotel.
We arrived here on a business trip and there was a strange feeling- on the outside it does feel like a Hilton, but inside- not even close.
None good thing about this hotel- prime location.
It's just a few steps away from the city center...
Once you get in though...there's a weird wooden reception with a rather old the design, the receptionists wear a dirndl and on the walls pictures of cows - and not the good kind of photos, seems like they've taken by an amateur.
And also- this television with a movie clip of a fire in the lobby, really?
The photos are also hanged on the elevator walls, there's even one of a cow's behind! Seriously?
So we entered the room- and what a surprise- odd design.
Not even a complimentary water bottle (which offered in pretty much anywhere)
The room felt very old, scratches on the wooden furniture, and a hair in the toilet which was clearly not mine. Ew!
I had to iron my shirt and wanted to call reception for an iron but then I found out there's one in the room- but it's leaking like crazy!
The first 10 minutes were dedicated to stop it from doing so and three more to finish with my shirt.
The bed was pretty comfy but the pillow was as hard as a rock, you're lucky I'm not spoiled and can sleep pretty much in any condition!
Then we woke up for breakfast which wasn't to spectacular as well- the pastries were delicious but the musli was awful as well as the dried fruits.
It was enough for me, but again, not something I'd expect from a Hilton.
To sum it all up- I wouldn't get here out of my free will.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Gloria G.Long Beach, Vereinigte Staaten110110. Aug. 2017
While traveling through Europe we decided to stop one night in Innsbrook Austria. The Hilton hotel has a sleazy casino full of smoke and strip shows. The hallways as well as the bathrooms reeked of smoke. The smoke went through the vents. The hallways wete old and dirty. I was very disappointed in this hotel.

It's the little things. Like having two double sized beds with some space in between, as opposed to two twin beds shoved together. Like having a shower curtain, rather than a glass wall that only goes half-way down the tub and really doesn't stop the shower spray from drenching the bathroom. Like having space to move around the room without bumping into your roommate. In other words, a little slice of America without completely losing the European charm.
We booked our European vacation through a travel website and in Innsbruck this was the only hotel option that came up, so it was an easy choice. I was not expecting to like the hotel as much as I did (even though I regularly stay in Hilton brand hotels for business back in the States). The love happened almost instantly upon entering our room and seeing the breathtaking view of the mountains and the old town below. If nothing else, this hotel is worth it for the view. But, the staff was also stellar. I attempted to speak in German, but had to resort to English at times and they were great in both languages. They gave us maps, gave us pointers on the best way to get places, let us know where all the Christmas markets were, and even gave us restaurant advice. We must have spoken with 4 different people at the front desk and they were all exceptional. They also have a restaurant, and given the biting cold that we just didn't think we could face any more after being out in it for 4+ hours, we wimped out and had dinner there. While prices were a bit steep the food was really good. Breakfast was also included with our stay and there was a wide variety of options. They'll even make you an omelette if you ask. Wifi was pricey at 15 Euros a day, but luckily with my Hilton Honors status I was able to get that complementary.
I usually like to stay in smaller, family type hotels when traveling through Europe. These seem to be the hotels that are close to the city centers and the sights I want to see. I would not hesitate to stay at this Hilton again though! Awesome location and great staff.
My one and only gripe is that even though our room (and floor) were non-smoking, it was clear that someone around us was smoking. Thankfully the smell only invaded our bathroom and was not overly annoying.
Oh, and I loved that they had gummi bears as part of the mini bar, but they were labeled "grizzly bears." I almost had to buy them just as a souvenir.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Katie M.Christiansburg, Vereinigte Staaten12225. Okt. 2016
Excellent experience! The woman who is running the bar is married to the hotel manager and is simply amazing! Customer service with a smile! Made a special snack for us after the kitchen was closed. AmaZing!

We have stayed at the Hilton Innsbruck and loved it. Sorry to see it gone.

It is very clean and it should be understood from other comments that this is a very old property, but that aside, it was great. I too travel and it is not unlike any of the Hilton properties that I have stayed at.

The front desk staff at this hotel are attentive, kind and helpful. Our room had an awesome view of the town and the mountains, and it was also clean and comfortable. This hotel is even in a great location and only a little more expensive than some hostels we looked at.
However, the in-room wifi is expensive (15 euro / 24 hours) and barely works. Every 15 seconds to a few minutes it would stop and I would need to restart the connection.
There is free wifi available in the comfortable lobby, and if you can get over the in-room wifi issues then I'd recommend this hotel to you.
Tip: Check out the Innsbruck card they sell at the front desk (it's sold other places, too). Easily worth the money if you planning on going up the mountain.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dave O.Saint Paul, Vereinigte Staaten7417. Feb. 2017
This is definitely 5 stars for me. Hilton breakfast buffet is spectacular and service is top notch. Deluxe room 14 the floor very roomy and comfortable. Bed is firm and perfect for me but if you like a soft bed you may be disappointed. Location walking distance to everything in Innsbruck. Well worth the price

I wouldn't consider this hotel a 4 star hotel, especially for a Hilton. The rooms are quite outdated. The location is nice, not too far from the old town (10 minute walk) and the view is very nice. There is also a casino right in front of the hotel. The buffet breakfast selection is huge and the food is pretty decent. Worth staying at, but I don't consider this a 4 star hotel, maybe a 3.5.
