Stayed in this hotel one and only time. I'm shocked that Hilton qualifies this hotel as four stars.
The only good thing again could be that the showers and bathrooms are adequate and nice looking.
Beds are not comfortable. Itchy. Very disappointing for a Hilton.
Room service menu limited to nearby restaurant that serves a confusing menu. French? No. Italian ? No. British? No. American? No.
      No club sandwich.
      Rooms are very small.
      Good location overlooking the park.

Perhaps the worst Hilton property at which I have ever stayed. Expensive, old rooms (to be honest, my family has three rooms - one renovated, two antique but not charming.). Old English plumbing kept my father and sister awake all night as it sounded like an eighteen wheeler was about to enter their unrefined rooms. This morning, there was no hot water. At seven, we were told maintenance would be by at nine, by a receptionist who clearly thought we were insane. At nine, we were told there was no hot water at the entire property - so at least we weren't again denigrated for our report. This evening, neither elevator was working, and nobody in the lobby has seen fit to put up a notice nor to mention it to those of us standing there helplessly in front of the doors. Luckily, my 91 year old father was spry enough to make it to the second floor and his noisy poorly plumbed room, and I made it to the third floor, none too spry on my replaced tumor-ridden hip. Save your points and money and go elsewhere, stay someplace nice and elegant.

Sorry, but an update. Today, they didn't get around to cleaning our room. They didn't split the bed in my sister's room as requested. AND the keys to all three rooms stopped working. Luckily, the digital keys did work.

We stayed at the Hilton Hyde Park London and felt like our choice was perfect. It is in a wonderful location away from all of the crowds of tourists closer to downtown. We discovered that a great breakfast could be ordered in the Aubaine restaurant inside the hotel. If you get there early you can get a table at the window and watch the people strolling into Kensington Gardens for their morning walk. Our waiter, Darshit, was excellent. If you want good espresso, ask him to make it. The hotel is next to a subway station if you want to go into downtown, but you can walk across the park and end up at Harrods or the V and A. Heading out the front door you can turn left and walk along Bayswater until it meets Oxford Street and Selfridges Department store is not far away. You can also walk out the front door and head right and go to The Churchill Arms Pub on your way through Notting Hill. Take a raincoat. I repeat, "Take a raincoat!!!"

The Hilton in Hyde Park is absolutely THE best place to stay in London! We were thrilled with the location and the wonderful hospitality of the staff. Nara at the front desk is an absolute gem who took excellent care of us with genuine warmth and expertise. And it's always nice to have the Hilton amenities to come home to. Thank you so much, Nara and Hilton Hyde Park -- see you again soon!

Stayed there for three days and three nights. The staff is extremely helpful. A youthful international team from Poland, Italy, Bulgaria and other places makes you welcome. Kamila & her teammates was great.

The room was clean, albeit a bit tired and could definitely use a new carpet. The location next to the Kensington Gardens and the Tube is convenient.

My biggest beefs to Hilton are: first, a four star hotel should have a decent gym. This hotel has NONE. Secondly, the walls are so thin, I could hear conversations next door. But for about $110 in London I think it's an ok deal.

The staff were absolutely nice and helpful and always available. The room was so small for the price and a little awkward shape, including a small tiny step to the restroom which you had to remember in the middle of the night to avoid tripping!!! The location was convenient as it was right next to the Red line Underground!!! The adjacencies to a good restaurant made it easy to have access to very good quality food on the day of your travel. The bedding was comfortable and the decor in the bathroom was specifically very new and pleasant. The cost was, well after all the 1/2 dozen taxes and fees a bit too high overall.

The Hilton London Hyde Park is for sure not my favorite Hilton I have ever stayed at, but I would not say its my least favorite either. The Hilton London Hyde Park does provides some nice amenities, but they are lacking in many areas as well.

I checked in for a week stay. I have been to many hotels in London and I was excited to try this out. Usually if the hotel is a true Hilton Hotel it is a little nicer than some of the other Hilton properties. Unfortunately this was not the case.

When I arrived they did have a room ready for me. Which was nice and it was because I have status with the Company. My friend was also checking in at the same exact time and they told her they do not have any rooms right now. Her and I booked the same type of room, mine was ready hers was not.

The room was very small. Most likely the smallest Hilton room I have ever stayed in and not what I came to expect from a Honda. The shower was in a huge bathtub which means you have to climb over the bath tub to get in the shower. I am a very tall guy and even that was a problem for me. I think it would be a serious problem for someone shorter. The worst part of the room was there was major cracks around the seal of the door so a lot of light came into the room from the hallway. I really did not like that.

Some other small issues that I did not like were the lift in the hotel. It was very very tiny. The lift can only hold maybe 1 or 2 people. Next was the issues with getting taxi's it was almost crazy that there were not a single taxi in the area. At one point on a rainy day I saw two employees trying to get taxi's for the crowd of people waiting for them. Finally the breakfast staff were not so very nice.

One thing I did not realize is not all hotels don't have a business center. Sure they said I could email them anything I wanted and I did and they did print it off for me, but Id much rather be able to print things on my own.

I do think that this hotel served its purpose for being a place where I slept during my week of business. I just wish the hotel would have been a little nicer.

Next year I won't be staying at the Hilton London Hyde Park

Worst hotel experience I've ever had. There was pee all over the bathroom when I first arrived and a dead bee on the carpet ... sanitation clearly isn't a priority. The location isn't even convenient. The staff seems like they hate their jobs and are very unwelcoming. Will not be staying here again...

After having a rather bad breakfast at my first morning in London at the Hilton London Kensington, where I was staying, I decided to take the 12 minute bus journey down the road which is just over a mile away, to this hotel to grab a buffet breakfast, hoping it was better than my hotel.

The hotel inside is highly small, even the lobby has a really bad feel to it, it just feels cramped with the building and decor being outdated.

A lack of "desks" and "staff" means queuing might take slightly longer here, which increases stress and it also didn't help that the staff didn't stand out nor did they seem too friendly or helpful either, which is totally the opposite of the service I normally receive at Hilton hotels.

I was originally sent into the restaurant when asking about the breakfast buffet, before being passed back into the main Hotel because they didn't serve breakfast there, I later found out the breakfast buffet area was not wheelchair accessible and was only accessed through quite a few steps, there did appear to be some sort of stairlift on the stairs, but this was folded and didn't appear to be functional.

The overall feel of this hotel and service from the staff, who seemed more rude than helpful and wheelchair access issues, makes me actually sit back in relief I didn't stay here rather than London Kensington where I did eventually stay for my stay, however my experience at the latter was also terrible which I will be writing a review for shortly.

The issues mentioned where the staff even struggled to know what they doing means this hotel warrants a single one-star rating.

Stayed here in April, 2018 for a business trip. I was here for just over a week, and it was a very enjoyable stay. First of all, the location is great as far as being right above the Central Line station. Great for getting around. The hotel is also right across from a bike and pedestrian entrance to Hyde Park. Catching a ride (taxi/uber/addison lee) was a little tricky, depending on traffic, but it all seemed to work out.

The room I was in was very comfortable. There was a small area where there was a round table and chairs where I could enjoy the views and eat breakfast. The room has a little mini-fridge and a Nespresso machine. Since there is a market right around the corner, I was able to pick up some milk and pop it in the fridge so I'd not run short of those little creamers they leave (which are never enough).

The TV was off to the right of the bed, which made for awkward viewing until I realized that I could pull it away from the wall and outside of the frame and angle it towards the bed. Be careful of the cables in the back to make sure you don't pull anything loose.

The bathroom had this weird noise it would make, like a rattle of the plumbing or something. I never did figure out if it was the supply or some sort of pump. I guess it's all the rooms and not just the one I was in because I could hear the same sound in the distance when other people would shower/run the sink.

Sometimes, housekeeping would take forever to turn over the room. I could come back to the room at 4pm and it still hadn't been serviced. But, that didn't bug me too much. I think it was more uncomfortable for the employees as I'd tell them it was okay to come in while I was there and they'd always hesitate a little.

I had a number of room service breakfasts, which were all pretty good. Mostly, I'd dine at the surrounding places or Deliveroo.

All in all, a very nice stay in a very good location. The only thing that would make it better for me would have been an Executive Lounge so I wouldn't have to work in the room so much.
