If you stop by on a fight night UFC, BOXING etc. (anything with a cover charge to watch at a bar or elsewhere) be prepared to wait in line or get there extremeley early since there is no charge a lot of groups buy 1 pitcher of beer and hold tables the entire night. -___-
I have mixed reviews about the service. I am a long time patron of this place and some of the waitresses are not friendly, easiest way i can explain it.
The food is what you would expect from a huge chain restaurant. Happy hour beer prices are great. What a DEAL!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lauren M.Belmont Shore, Vereinigte Staaten84451011. Aug. 2018
So it's no secret....I love food and I just so happen to be a Connoisseur of a few things....Wings are one of them!
If I was just basing my review on wings alone I would give them a 3.5 stars but I'm not....it was an all around mess.
After a 40 minute wait we asked what happened to our food order since it seemed to be dead in the restaurant.....and the waitress attempting to use big words is cute and all....but really it's not necessary. I'm really just here for the wings please.
55 minutes later our wings finally arrive and I can't wait to get some of these Daytona Bone In Wings because at this point I'm starving....
Oh, just to realize with the first bite that they were completely under cooked and inedible. I ended up passing on the wings and eating the celery and carrots instead.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 24. Feb. 2014
I have not been to a Hooters in ages: Despite the scenery, the wings are just OK, they charge for the sauce and the remainder of the food is mediocre. However, my recent experience at the LBC location made me change my mind.
I was in the area to attend an event w/ my sister from a different mister, Denise L. (from Sunnyvale) at the LB Convention Center. I was starving, her event wasn't quite finished, so I said to myself, "Where can I hang out before we meet for dinner later?". Islands has lousy TVs, I didn't feel like walking to Yardhouse, so I settled on Hooters. After all, how much trouble could I get into at Hooters???
I started off ordering a 22 oz Ranger IPA and 10 naked wings w/ Three Mile Island sauce. The Ranger was ice cold and went down quickly. I think I ordered another one before the wings arrived: 4 Stars. The wings were actually better than I remembered. The Three Mile Island sauce was perfect for my taste buds, and the wings had a fair amount of meat. However, I should have ordered drumettes only: 4 Stars. I was still hungry afterwards and ordered the sliders. Bad move! Think White Castle burgers at 4X the price: 2 Stars.
The layout is different at this location vs others. There are rows of booths as you enter for groups & families, but the bar area is circular and surrounded by big screens. There is also a small area w/ high tables: 4 Stars.
The service was excellent. Dominque was super friendly, attentive and just a nice person. I found out she attends LB State, so I contributed well to her college fund. Her partner in crime, Chanel (she said it was pronounced Sang), also took good care of me. BTW, both of them were hawt, and had plenty of patrons hollarin at them (except me): 5 Stars.
Funny story: While I was waiting for Denise, I grew tired of beer and ordered tequila & soda. Well, a couple of Latinas next to me said, "Why are you wasting good tequila?" "You should do shots!" Not wanting to back down, I said, "I will if you will!!!". Well this went on for a couple of hours, and finally we said we should go to another place. In the meantime, Denise hits me and says she and her friends are going to the Yardhouse. Unfortunately, I had already been drinking for four hours, and I was clear across town at Shannons in Belmont Shores, "shooting the root". Sorry Denise!
The moral to this story is, do come to this Hooters to watch a game, drink an ice cold beer, and enjoy some wings. However, don't do shots w/ a couple of Latinas, and then go to Shannons, cos you might end up "shooting the root". Although, the two of them didn't seem to mind! - LMAO!!!Helpful 22Thanks 0Love this 25Oh no 0 - 17. Feb. 2013
I had sworn never to patronize a Hooters ever again after the single worst restaurant experience of my life at their Anaheim location a couple years ago. But a group of out-of-town guests insisted we go here after an Aquarium visit so I VERY reluctantly went along.
There was no one at the hostess station when we arrived so we stood for about 5 minutes until someone acknowledged and seated us. Our waitress was very sweet and nice and admittedly provided good service throughout the meal. That was the only redeeming aspect of this visit.
Five of us ordered a platter of 50 medium-spicy wings with sides of celery and a couple baskets of fries and onion rings. The fries and rings were okay but too greasy. The wings were supremely disappointing. Aside from being the least meaty wings I have ever had, they were not at all spicy - not even mild. I am a spice wimp so when I say they were not spicy you can imagine they were close to being just plain. But we were starving and ate them anyway. When we finished we noticed a lot of liquid at the bottom of the platter. I dipped a fry in it and sure enough, it was spicy. Apparently all the buffalo sauce was so liquidy that it slid right off the wings and pooled at the bottom of the plate...at least that's the only explanation I can come up with. Terrible wings.
Needless to say, my Hooters ban is back in force.Helpful 13Thanks 0Love this 11Oh no 0 - 47951940138209. Feb. 2014
The Service: Very attentive. Seated right away. Our server is super friendly. Give recommendation on the menu. Check on us whenever she passes our table. Refill our drinks without us asking.
The Food: Food is served quickly. Wings and sliders are just so so.
The Parking: Very limited street metered parking.Helpful 8Thanks 0Love this 11Oh no 0 - 20. Mai 2014
I came here with my toddler for lunch here today to get my bday entree. I actually got the Tuesday special, AYCE wings. The coupon went towards it and I paid the rest. They also have $1 martini's if you get an entree, 3 per customer. I tried the key lime pie, cucumber melon and some kind of apple. My fav would be the cucumber melon.
Our Hooter girl was cool, she did forget my first martini but it's ok. We weren't in a hurry. We tried 4 different flavors... 2 spicy - general tso's & daytona beach, 2 non spicy for the toddler - lemon pepper and parmesan garlic. He liked the parm garlic the best.
Today was the perfect day to go. The weather was just right and the little one wanted to sit outside on the patio. After our meal, we enjoyed a walk over the roller coaster bridge and saw the ships sailing in the marina. Awesome lunch date with my little man.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - 21. Dez. 2010
Funny...who hired the guy passing out the towels with the Axe spray in the men's restroom. Check his visa!!!! LOL!!!
Food ok, service was pretty good (thanks Anya). Parking kind of sucks, so park in the garage or find metered spots. The big projection screen was clear as heck! But why am I reviewing the tons of tv's and flat screens? Wait..back to the service. Not bad, pretty good views, good times. But too many kids and TEENS.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kenny T.San Jose, Vereinigte Staaten369926119. Nov. 2014
The interior of this place is very nice and relaxing with decent views of the Pike.
Compare to BWW the wings are cooked to perfection not over cooked and seasoned much better. $13 all you can eat wings you can't go wrong especially during happy hour.
The management needs to step it up on the service. It seems like most of the servers were talking to one another and not paying attention to the customers' orders. It took a while for my wings to be delivered between orders.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Richard L.Downtown, Los Angeles, Vereinigte Staaten2265123672284. Nov. 2013

This was first time I've ever dined at a Hooters. It wasn't my first choice, but I wanted to get something to eat before the Red Bull Flugtag. The décor reminded me a lot of a typical Sport Bar, but with more attractive waitresses of course. Don't bother to ask them straight for their number since they likely get that request like every hour.
The menu prices are actually on par with a typical Sport Bar and weren't as pricey as I thought they would be. We ended up ordering the Baja Burger with Curly Fries. The burger was pretty good; the buns were toasted and the patties were cooked just about right. I would prefer a slice of avocado over the guacamole. The guacamole tasted like the pre-made package type. The fries were cold and not fresh; we asked for replacements and they did that in a heart beep.
Overall it kinda met my expectations; just don't expect high hopes for this place.Helpful 20Thanks 0Love this 24Oh no 0
