Horns Lodge

If you can't find anywhere decent to stay in Lewes, I can highly recommend this beautiful place located in the picturesque village of Chailey. We stayed there after a wedding last year and were so impressed with the standard of the rooms and the staff/owners couldn't do enough to make is feel warm and welcome.

They have a really cozy little free house bar too serving some excellent real ales and home cooked food. There's also a great billiards table and all the old fashioned pub games you could want.

Lovely place to pop in, especially if out for a spin! My son loves it here, and he does the driving I can enjoy some of their lovely beers which include Harveys and Dark Star!! Great staff who always seem to be cheery.
The food is excellent and look out for the specials board.BUT don't expect any food Tuesday lunchtimes! Don't do Tuesday lunchtimes!! Lovely part of Sussex

Horns Lodge offers great customer service and a nice atmosphere to have a drink with friends.

My other half and I stopped by here for dinner. My husband enjoyed his fish and chips and my burger was fairly decent. I wouldn't recommend my meal though so but might give others a try if we come back.

My fiancé and i love this pub we have come to know the family run establishment quite well, their chef she is amazing she looks young but look out her food is amazing. The drinks are always made perfectly and we love the home feel please If there's anywhere you want to go with great history, food, drinks and wonderful people go there please!

Great family and dog friendly pub.

Good selection of real ales, including Harveys, Dark Star and other guest beers.

Very good food way above pub average, also has occasional themed food nights, for example fish or pie night.

Food is rubbish nearly everything is fried and I cant eat fried food. Waited nearly hour and half for first course. Ordered chicken ceasar salad for main was covered in cheese and hardly any chicken in it. Supposed to have had new potatoes with it, got 3 slices of white french stick with it.
