Hotel Pension zum dicken Baum

This hotel doesn't have a front desk or staff just a sign with a number to call. To get your key she will tell you the combination for the lock box. when she says diamond that means the # symbol not the *. Nowhere on booking.com page states this so be prepared with a cellphone or email her ahead of time.

We didn't have sim card for phone so couldn't call when we arrived. Had a hard time finding sim card in town. After a long flight and several hour drive we just wanted to relax, but instead had to run around town trying to find someone that sold sim cards.

Towels were rough and unpleasant to use. The shower water went cold to hot to cold without the sink on or toilet flushing. The bathroom tile was very cold.

Free parking was on the street not sure if where we parked was legal.

The room was clean and there was a small beverage fridge.

Breakfast not included but there was a grocery store nearby to get yogurt and bananas at.
