HOTLIPS Pizza - Killingsworth

Solid pizza place. Another work lunch and was craving pizza so I was surfing Doordash. One of my co-workers recommended this place to I decided to give it a try. Overall a great pie, no complaints about it.

I waited to do a review because if I would have based it on my first time there I probably would have given it one star. However, due to the proximity of my house to the store I have gone several times. I have learned to go earlier in the day as opposed to later as the pizza seems a bit more fresh and there is more variety. Seems that after 6 PM or so it gets very thin and they are not willing to make more pizzas or breadsticks. I have only done by the slice so far and not ordered a whole pizza but due to the current situation we will probably be doing that very soon as we can call and order and just go pick it up outside.

These slices are large and I have only tried the pepperoni. It is my go to. I do have to say if you put enough chili flakes and Parmesan on top and dip it in there absolutely amazing homemade jalapeño sauce and ranch it is phenomenal! I crave that combination. Their breadsticks are an option of Parmesan or pesto. They are both good but I prefer the Parmesan. Again, dip it in the sauces!

They have a soda machine and a good selection of draft beers and cider. There is also a cooler to pick out your own drinks that are bottled and they have salads as well.

I think if the selections were better when I have gone I would have given it four stars. Staff are pleasant but at times just do their job minimally which is fine. I am just there for a slice so I don't expect a whole lot.

Hot Lips made a minor error on the pizza my husband ordered and Roberto immediately offered to remake it and he upgraded the size. Fabulous, friendly service and incredible pies. This location continues to be our local go-to!

I love how unique hot lips pizza toppings are. We really loved the pop tatie and bacon pizza! I recommend ordering ahead as they get busy. And you have to get one of their berry sodas. Super delicious !

Weird experience, my girlfriend ordered a pizza from here and had me pick up but they missed a few sauces. Every employee I spoke with seemed either drunk, stoned or coked out like including the manager??

Definitely won't be returning if that's the standard allowed for employees to keep, who knows if they're being sanitary when there all inebriated.

So I'm sold on this place big time. I saw the ratings that it had and I tell you, don't mind them cuz HOTLIPS knows what they're doing, especially in Killingsworth. I love their super thin crust and their red sauce is bomb. Lately, I've been munching on their chef's choice cuz it is so freaking good. Get the most bang for your buck with their specials but you gotta go earlier in the day usually to make the most of them. But their sodas are very good and I can't wait to try more of their slices.

GREAT PIZZA! they have options that normal pizza places dont have, vegan & gluten free choices as well. You can get slices for an average of $4 each or a whole pie starting @ $16 for a medium pepperoni. They serve craft beer on tap as well as craft in cans & bottles in their fridge off to the side.
$2 cheese slices before noon every day
Happy Hour- $4 pints between 8-10pm (closing)

Their crust was thin and crunchy, their sauce & cheeses were flavorful & they use quality ingredients. Im always on the hunt for good pizza & this definitely makes the cut. Im happy they have one in Hollywood since we got to experience in portland while visiting

On a kind human note, iv seen them giving their left over slices of the nite to the homeless people who will stop by after they are closed up. It makes me really happy to see they arent just throwing the pizza away & wasting it when theres plenty of hungry people who appreciate not having to dig it out of the trash. much love to you guys for that!

Good stuff! Nice staff, got a 14" for takeout. We did a "build your own" and they nailed it. Nice thin (but not too thin) crust and delicious ingredients. We will be back for sure.

I used to recommend Hotlips for Pizza. However I recently got a pizza from them and on opening discovered 1/3 of the pizza was burnt.

Burnt toppings, blackened crust, foul taste.

I sent them a message with photos expecting a reply but got nothing back.

Hugely disappointed in the customer service. For a $30 pizza I expect a lot better.

Was curious to try this spot as it's just a few blocks from my house. The staff wasn't terribly friendly although the experience wasn't bad. The 160bpm dubstep playing on a Sunday night whilst Having a raging hangover wasn't the best. Ordered the ham and pineapple 10" at $13. Size was decent. Pizzas actually delicious. Great crunch to the crust and the ingredients taste incredibly fresh and delicious. I would come back in. I almost gave it 4 stars but the music and atmosphere wasn't great for me
