Hugendubel

We went there on October 8 and it was another really nice Hugendubel; huge - with a great selection - and lots of (comfortable) seating plus very pleasant employees.

Note that there's a charge to use the restroom.

I needed some driving maps for several European countries and they had them all. Lovely bookstore with an extensive English book section for us non-Germans.

I like to browse here on my lunch break. The English section is pretty varied, more fiction than non-fiction. They have a small scifi area on the 2nd floor. The fiction/nonfiction is at the top. Toilets are 50¢

Good location and decent selection. It may be worth considering, though, whether the customer service desk is the best place for unhelpful and unfriendly employees.
