Started with local beers. Can't go wrong there. Also had olives to snack on. We ordered 2 pies to split as appetizers for the group. The salami and peppers with olives was excellent. Careful, the olives are imported and have pits.
We asked the owner David to prepare a 3 course chef's selection for the group. First course was pasta with ricotta. Second course was a seafood linguini (mussels, shrimp, and octopus all fresh). Third course was traditional bolognese. All courses were excellent with perfectly cooked al dente pasta. My favorite was the seafood.
We split a tiramisu and panna cotta for dessert, both excellent. Finished the evening with lemon cello made from the owner on the house.

My friends and I stayed at Holiday Inn Express, which is near munich airport for one night while waiting for our flight back home the next day. The hotel was located at a very deserted "countryside" and we were convinced that we will have to settle for the hotel's restaurant. We decided to venture out to take a look. Stumbled upon this Italian restaurant and was taken by its cosy ambience, tasty food and friendly staff. The pizza is outstanding with thin and crispy crust and fresh toppings. We were sitting near the wood fire oven and was able to watch our pizzas freshly made in front of our eyes. Another special mention to the tiramisu which was plated to look like a pot of plant! The chef also made a delicious Nutella pizza for us "on the house". Would highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area. :)
