For years I have been taking our law firms phones to Tyler at the I phone store 1900 Mangrove Ave, across the parking lot from the the organic market. No one in Chico knows more about repair than the people at the I phone store. Be careful where you go! I see people standing in the street twirling signs trying to get your repair. I saw one right across from his shop? Tyler does not have to do that. If you ask around, he is the place to go. Even Best Buy repair tried to quote a simple battery replacement for over $235. Tyler does the I phone 6splus battery replacement for around $55.00
I endorse the iStore totally and recommend that if you have an issue with you I phone or I pad drop in? Go to the i Store. Experience is everything and polite care and integrity make this place great.
The Best Buy guy even said,. They are controlled by some corporate rules and pricing. Then he said Tyler will do the right thing. They know who the best people are. I support small businesses, Tyler's i Store center is a service to Chico and again the best place for i Phone repairs.

I WAS JUST ASSAULTED BY THE EMPLOYEE AT THE CHICO iSTORE!!
In the past 4 years, I have purchased 4 iphone screens from them, maybe more including my kids' phones. The other people with whom I have dealt have always been pleasant, responsive and helpful. The last time I broke my screen it was only months old so the guy recommended this more expensive screen where if it broke the screen company would provide a free replacement - I think it's a gorilla screen? I broke it.
The man today was very unpleasant from hello, told me he didn't know what I was talking about, they don't sell anything like that and I had the wrong store. I told him I have been there several times, they did sell me a very expensive upgraded screen and I asked for manager contact info so I could just call on Monday. He refused to give me manager info and pulled out his computer where it showed I wasn't a customer as he got more and more agitated. I have only ever filled out paper forms so I don't know anything about his system. He yelled at me that I wasn't a customer and I yelled back "I am a customer, I've been here 4 times!" At that point, he grabbed my purse and keys, threw them at the door, came around the counter at me yelling "get the f*** out of here!" I was terrified! There was no one else in the store and he was between me and the door and my stuff! I said, are you nuts? He continued to kick my expensive purse and keys on the ground and we struggled as I tried to get my keys off the floor as he kicked my purse out of the store. I finally got through the door to outside and he pushed me in back and closed the door.
There are no words, I cannot tell you how scared I was. I have never feared being physically attacked, especially over a stupid phone screen. Just give me the manager's name and let me leave!
To the man in the navy veteran hat who showed up just after this happened as I was shaking and in tears and calling 911, thanks so much for walking away and leaving me. I can only hope if your wife is assaulted that she runs into my husband for help and not hers.

i went to the store for a part for my i phone and they didnt have it. while i was there there was a latino employee who was abusing a white elderly couple who were trying to get a refund for a faulty iphone. I have never witnessed such prejudice and descrimination by an employee. He was telling them to leave or he was going to lock the store with them inside and call the police. I left but waited outside in case that happened when the older man came out. I was afraid the woman was going to be assaulted by the employee and waited for her also. I will never shop there again, and would suggest no one else does either.

I needed my screen protector replaced and these guys did it in record time. The job was well done at a great price and the service person didn't wear a mask which made me feel so much safer. I can't trust someone wearing a mask. Thanks again!

Dropped off iPad for digitizer (touch screen part of the touch screen) was quoted at 100$ for 2 days, took almost a month to get iPad back and when I was given it there was something left under the screen. The new home button (the original of which they broke when they took the digitizer off) is also loose. 0/10, will never go back or recommend. Would give zero stars if could.

Love this place! Super friendly staff. My phone was completely locked up, and I thought I would have to buy a new one. For $30, the guys at the shop completely reset it, and I was good to go! iStore to the rescue!

Horrible customer service. I brought the same iPhone 7 plus in three times for a screen repair. The phone had been working, with a cracked screen. After the new screen, it wouldn't work, thus the 2 extra trips, in which the workers acted so out upon that i came back.
The owner would not reverse my charge (over $100.) because he said they had performed the service. But the service performed was unsatisfactory.
When i finally took it to the Apple Store in Roseville, they said that, because of the "repairs",:it could not be calibrated and i needed a new phone. I had made an appointment across the street at Chico IRepair (I think it's called) and that didn't work because they called back to "see if I was coming" even after I made and appointment at 4. I showed up at 4 and the guy said he had "promised the screen to someone else" because I didn't answer? What the F is the appointment for then? They order based on need so they never have anything In stock. I have got my phone fixed here before and I had the same issue, plus their screens suck! If you have a newer iPhone like the X, you need OLED displays which they don't have. My iPhone X looked like the screen of an iPhone 4.
However, I saw the iStore across the street and I thought I would at least check their prices. Their prices are equally cheap! 225 for and OLED display! Killer deal because they charge 349 at Best Buy for the same screen. Wonderful customer service by Luke I think his name was? Got me in and out in less than 20 minutes. They had screens in stock, unlike other companies in town that make you wait days. Some of us NEED our phones for work and can't go days phone-less, so it's nice iStore actually keeps an inventory. Non existent service.
Dropped off phone on a Wednesday, said they'd get back to us the day after. Next day had to call them and they said they'd call Friday.
Come Friday, no call still so I called them with no answer 7 times.
It is now almost two weeks later and not only have they not answered/returned our calls, they have been CLOSED WITHOUT WARNING since then with NO INFO ON OUR DEVICES.
Honestly am concerned they ran off with our phones, looking at other reviews they're known for stealing internal components.
Stay far, far away from this store and take it to one of the stores across the street for better service!Helpful 10Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0
