A small little cozy Brasserie where you will have 5 options to choose from. Real French the food is really good the ambiance wonderful it has a very personal touch. Olivier the owner and waiter is a great host. We called 12 restaurants on a Friday night trying to find a place of course during Marche de Noelle time so December it was almost an impossible mission and we ended in a great place. I had the blanc de volaille so poultry stuffed with vegetables and a carrot purée of course there was a delicious sauce to go with. My husband tried the filet which was really amazing with great chips their home made creme brûlée is to die for. The place has a decent wine list and the prices are great you will have a full meal with a bottle of wine for 25 €

An intimate setting with incredible food! What a find! (How I love my yelp app to find "unique" places!)
The handsome soccer player waiter kept the 5 tables well tended to while his fellow player cook in the back produced delectable plates
Don't miss this restaurant! We didn't have a reservation but don't risk it

We arrived at the restaurant at 6:30, were presented a menu at 7:00 and the final bill at 8:30. The food was excellent but would plan plenty of time to get through dinner. The waiter wasn't excessively friendly, mostly chatting with regular customers and not that enthused by the one-off tourist. The dog on the other hand was very friendly :-) All that being said the food was worth the wait.

Try this restaurant if you're in Strasbourg! The food is fantastic. It's a small place with a limited menu written on a chalkboard. The waiter/(and I assume owner) translated for us (and reminded me so much of Rocco DiSpirito!) I was slightly worried as I am more of a fish, chicken, pasta/vegetarian eater and the menu was meat driven - and I could see from fellow diners - the portions were generous (though every plate went back to the kitchen clean as a bone).
I ended up ordering the lamb, and it was delicious. Wonderful flavors and perfectly prepared. I was extremely pleased with my order. The dessert was fantastic too - a fromage blanc cake. Not as sweet as American cheesecake -- and SO much better!
We both enjoyed the meal very much, and were blown away to learn the chef prepares both the entrees AND desserts.

This restaurant had Menu for the day. List of 5 dishes just designed in a way that helped us to make our choice quite easy to pick one. Although with the ingredients and the way the food was served it was super delicious and satisfying. Very friendly place and the service was excellent.

I ate here during my visit to Strasbourg, and the meal was solid. I had the hanger steak (onglet de Boeuf) . It was cooked with a light cream sauce, fries, and a side salad. The meat comes around 200-220g which is a solid serving for dinner. I had some red wine for $3 euro- and that was surprisingly good (nothing you will get in the states). If you are looking for a nice meal this wouldn't disappoint. Altogether with wine, my meal was around &25 euro.

Well, I can only agree with previous people who have been here that this is a simply excellent restaurant. I can't recommend it too highly. The atmosphere is slightly conservative but there is a modern tinge to it, the welcome is genuine and heartfelt and the service very friendly and helpful without being servile. (It helps if you speak French I guess, as I don't think many English-speaking people go here). There is a limited menu of about half a dozen main dishes. I had the monkfish with roasted clementines, which was superb. My wife had the best seafood risotto she has had for a long time and we washed it all down with a very nice bottle of Alsatian pinot gris which was first class. For pud I had creme brulee flambeed in absinthe and my wife had ice cream, all of which was outstanding. The music was subdued but fun for middle-aged folk like us - Beatles, Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald &c. Overall it was an excellent meal and a most enjoyable evening. They definitely deserve their 5 stars.

We found this restaurant as we exited the parking garage across the river from the cathedral. They have a casual atmosphere and music is playing that is not too loud. The menu is a chalk board that is presented to you as the menu. They have a full bar and a short selection of wines by the glass. Our waiter was charming and explained everything in a mixture of French and English. We selected 2 of the plates from the board (veal and tuna steak). Both were prepared nicely and served with on a plate with elegant accompaniment. We finished our meal with a creme brulee and were pleased to see that they used a hand torch to put the finishing touches on the crust on top of the dessert. True to it's name, the bar also serves absinthe and we availed ourselves of a digestif of absinthe to finish.
