We stopped in for lunch on our arrival to Cologne. Our server was lovely and speaks perfect English as well as several other languages! She and her partner are from Spain and recently added a new tapas menu to their offerings. We had a lovely experience and very good food. There is interior seating but we sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful day. The lentil soup was delicious and the cod with spinach was cooked to perfection. The tortilla was a little different than the ones we enjoyed in Spain but still very good. Spanish tapas in Germany are a nice break from the traditional German fare.

We came here after dinner and for drinks. We had lots of juice with cocktail drinks, German beer as well as Vino.

This was a really good Spanish restaurant in downtown Cologne.

They were also known for having good drinks and lots of good red wines. You were definitely leave here with bright red lips.

We've been here twice an tried some different tapas. The variety to choose from wasn't huge. But, the menu covers most wishes. Both times appearal and quality of the served tapas was above average and fulfilled our expectations by far. The only downside was the service during our second visit when the service was a little slow since there was only on waiter for the whole restaurant.
However, the the restaurant is recommendable and worth a visit.

I knew I would love this place from the second I walked in. We were warmly greeted by an English-speaking waitress to a cozy little restaurant with wine bottles lining the walls and a whole Iberico ham in back waiting to be carved and eaten (I love that stuff).

This was my first night in Cologne and I was pretty hungry so we both opted for the large tapas sampling... excellent decision. Way too much food, of course, but what a blast trying it all. The highlights were the ham (duh), vegetable gratin, prosciutto and cheese dates, and well pretty much anything with cheese in it. The manchengo- yum, the honeyed Brie like cheese with walnuts - awesome and some kind of bonus feta says that was really tasty. And before all that, some delicious bread and rich garlic sauce. The best part of this is that everything is served "tapas" style, small sample size dishes, so you can try it all... and I did. Throw in a great bottle of Spanish wine for less than 25 euros and it was a great meal all around. Lucky this place was close to our hotel and we stumbled in...

I'm confused why This place gets such good reviews. The tapas were all bland and lacked taste. The meatballs were practically cold. The one positive was the servers were very friendly. We left extremely disappointed. It's too bad because it's a cute place!

Fantastic Spanish tapas and wine bar in Barbarossaplatz. Fully stocked with exceptional Cava and other Spanish wines.
The owners are extremely knowledgable and experienced about the details of Spanish food and drink pairings.
The tapas were absolutely delicious: creamy and flavorful cheeses, perfectly smoked fish and seasoned shrimp, various meats and potatoes with dipping sauce, and traditional cured Spanish ham.

Reservations are a must, as the restaurant tends to fill up quite fast. The restaurant also offers special party packages with drinks and Tapas platters for intimate gatherings in the lounge area downstairs.
Service is friendly, atmosphere is cozy chic.

Super Tapas and Champagne. Also seasonal specials. Stuff is very friendly and gives Great recommendations.

Went there yesterday to celebrate my birthday. We had amazing tapas at very reasonable price and had an great waitress. Would defiantly recommend this place to everyone

Great cava! Try the one with rose... Tapas were good too, I think what is not attractive about this place to me is that it can be quite loud.
