A little gem near Bishop's Park, this little restaurant is a must for those in search of authentic Italian cuisine. This food is mostly from the very south east - the heel of Italy's boot.
The warm and inviting atmosphere, comes not only from the interior, but from the staff, who are as authentic as the food.
My favourites are the "diavolo" (devils) pizza, the "fritte", and all the pasta. We often grab a takeaway pizza too.
So you should definitely come and experience this local delight - it won't break your budget.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Doctor L.San Francisco, Vereinigte Staaten573102476. Juli 2018
Good food, bad service, and that's being kind. Friendly environment for screaming children if you have them, which we do. Unfortunately they were screaming because the food took so damn long to arrive.

I rarely review restaurants but this place is legit. We were in Europe for a month this summer and this place was by far the best food we had (and we had some amazing food)...the pizza is thin and crispy, the pasta is so full of flavor and the owner was there talking to his guests both times we went. Open late and so accommodating for vegetarians. Stop reading this and GO!!!

A great local and casual place that is halfway between a takeaway shop (a 'tavola calda' in Italian) and a deli with lots of Italian products on the shelves for sale. The place has a sister restaurant further down along Fulham Road that serves both pizza and pasta dishes in a larger but also casual dining setting.
This place has lots of ready made pastas and aranicini ready for take away or eat in (there are about 6 or 7 tables in front of the counter). No lumpy, dried out pasta here though. The lasagna or gnocchi dishes are just as good as homemade ones and they are happy to give generous portions.
What I love most about the place is everyone in there is clearly a regular. Everyone is gossiping in Italian and having a chat or a rumble about their day. It really does feel like a local place in southern Italy.
The deli also organises 'aperitivo' evenings (alcoholic drinks like Campari Soda or Aperol Spritz with finger food) every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 7.30pm.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Caren H.London, Vereinigtes Königreich37594917. Nov. 2013Erster Beitrag
I loved this place. We came royally late to our reservation and they had given away our table (justified as we were 45 minutes late on a Friday eve and hadn't called.) They hustled to get us a table and made a small cheese pizza (for free) for the kid that was a part of our party. They rolled out a delicious antipasti spread including this awesome potato dish from the Southern Puglia region. Loved our Chianti and I had a pizza that was really good.
The owner was lovely--had some lemoncello with us to end the night. They are new--have a deli that has been known in the neighborhood from some time and fess up to trying to get the kinks out. The place was buzzing already (with loads of Italians) and even a Made in Cheslea cast member. So the word is out!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Laura K.Wedel, Schleswig-Holstein03121. Great Italian Resto - typical of the salento region of Italy. I've enjoyed the pizza (diavola is the bomb) and a few antipasti and pasta dishes. Throw in good friendly staff and good prices - total experience is hard to beat!
